Great budget hotel in front of the train station

Old style budget hotel ideally located across from the train station. There is a cafe/restaurant on the ground floor, and rooms on the upper floors. The building and rooms are "vintage" but have that 1960s charm that you can't find in more modern hotels in the cities. Very hot water and a good shower (watch your step as it is elevated from the floor), clean and comfortable room, and very quiet despite the proximity of the train station. Staff/owners are kind, and the café/restaurant regulars are why I love France's little villages and it's countryside.

Timing is everything.

Nice breakfast in dining area next to a bar that was clearly popular in the morning with local workers.

Only 1 bedside light and 1 bedside table. Bar and restaurant closed when we arrived about 7.00 pm. Had to communicate via an intercom to persuade someone we had a booking. No kettle, view or coffee maker in our room.. Place seemed to be closed up when we arrived.

Easy to park and walk to bars/restaurants

No one around when we came to check in despite advising of our arrival time Unable to pay by card on departure Wi-Fi just did not work Bar and restaurant closed just selling rooms Bedrooms are dated but functional Probably would not stay again due to unwelcoming hosts and general standard of building/bedrooms

Bien pour une étape

Le petit-déjeuner est simple. Les propriétaires sont sympas. La chambre est propre., le lit est confortable. Le centre ville est à 5 mn à pied. Le parking gratuit est juste en face de l'hôtel.

La douche est surélevée, un peu dangereux pour les personnes avec handicap.

Une fois mais pas deux.

L'hôtel est au dessus d'un genre de café des sports, le rdc sent le tabac, les matelas étaient horribles, l'état de la sdb laissait à désirer (joints de la douche noirs, dentifrice dans l'évier, cheveux par terre, serviettes des occupants précédents encore présentes,...).

Un vrai retour dans les années passées.

L'accueil dans cet hotel est simple et fort sympathique. La décoration intérieure de ma chambre est restée figée depuis de nombreuses années mais reste acceptable.

Il n'y a pas de d'aliment salé dans le buffet du petit déjeuner.

Très bon et chaleureux accueil. Accès à l'hôtel facile. proche de notre lieu de rendez-vous.

Très bon accueil au petit déjeuner avec le sourire et l'attention de notre réceptionniste.

je ne pense pas que vous y pouvez quelque chose mais étant donné que nous étions avec une personne âgée ( 93ans ), il aurait été préférable d'avoir moins d'escalier à monter. je note tout de même que les escaliers sont très accessibles.
