Terrible stay

Location was good

My daughter and I made reservations 1week ahead according to our stay for 2 days we reserved a room with 2 beds for 4 people , we got there and they had downsized our room to 1 bed according to the person at check in they were short on rooms! How does that happen when you reserve 1 week ahead and they didn’t even let us know until we got there, the only solution they gave us is blankets for one person to sleep in the floor!!! And charged our card for the same price as 2 beds stay

It gets loud on the 1st floor

Location was great and the front desk staff were amazing

We were on the 1st floor in 124. Breakfast is entirely too loud! We were not expecting to be woken up at 6 am. If we knew, we would have chosen another room. I don't want to completely blame the hotel.. common deceny from other guests was nonexistent. I just wished the hotel would've warned us. The bathroom was unbelievably TIGHT! The door couldn't open all of the way due to the unit (bathroom sink).

The property was nearby and the front desk person was nice

There was an issue with ice bucket in one of my rooms that was left dirty with trash in it and the front desk person was not able to help resolve the issue. The property outside was littered with bear bottles and trash.

Lovely hotel worth a stay

The pool was clean, and the pool area was clean and comfortable Suite was large, comfortable, and well equipped Thursday and Friday night receptionist was super friendly and super helpful. She dealt with a situation with another guest efficiently and well Reasonable choice of breakfast Easy parking Quiet area

Hot water at breakfast. On the first morning, it wasn't hot. The second morning, the water tasted faintly of coffee. I suspect the hot water urns are interchangeable. If hot water is being used for teamaking, that coffee taint spoils it. No fruit juice machine on breakfast day 2, only Sunny D available in fridge. The receptionist on saturday was more absent than present and not particularly pro active. 4 or 5 TVs in breakfast area on different channels. All with volume on AND lobby music playing!

Nice sized rooms and fairly clean but need to invest in more towels, washcloths, and bedding.

The rooms were a nice size and beds were comfortable.

We stayed 3 nights and only had clean towels and washcloths the first night. The staff were not helpful in finding clean linen and started a long list of names and room numbers of others who also needed fresh linen, but nobody ever brought it to us and when we went to ask for some they always said they were in the washer. We also asked for our room to be cleaned after the second night hoping to get clean linen, but nobody ever cleaned it.

Overall, nice hotel and very close to everything!

1) Was close to everything we wanted to go to! 2) Smelled very good inside the hotel! Not sure what scent was going, but it smelled really good!!

1) Bathroom was a bit tight! Not enough room to move around! It needed to be more roomy! 2) Breakfast could have been much better! Not near enough options! 3) Pillows are way too flat! Definitely need new pillows and could really use new mattresses on beds!! 4) There were some stains on the comforters, and pillowcases! Also, noticed some stains on the lamp shades. Definitely need to get rid of the stains, or just get all new bedding and lampshades!!

Convenient overnight stay for cruise vacation

Great stay for the night before our cruise. We drove, but did notice there were options for shuttles from the property to the cruise port. Great breakfast and nice sized room. Close to Buc-ee’s and easily accessible from the Highway and to the port.

The cleanliness of the room was not that great. When we asked someone to remake the bed they just remade the bed with the same stained stuff so that was fun! We also asked for towels and toilet paper. Never got them

It's was average compared to the same hotel up here in Allen Tx. The breakfast needs some work.

I was charged on the card I booked with on booking.com. Then I received my refund after management reached out to me. It showed up on my account that same night. This was my first time coming to Texas City. had wonderful time but the hotel experience was not 🥺

I arrived to the hotel at about 12pm I was able to get my room right away. The room was nice and clean and big enough for 2 people. I liked that it was quiet and safe, front desk operator always had a smile on her face.😃

I was there from December 15th to the 18th No Housekeeping I had to go downstairs to Ask for toilet tissue. Face towls. Drawing towels. I talk to the general manager, Alexis Oritz She looked up my complaint and seeing that there was no housekeeping. The general manager said that she will give me 25% off my bill, 🤔$ 368.00 I said OK I asked her how long will it take to Show, she said 5 days, 12/22/2023 On December 29 2023 I call the general manager, Alexis Oritz She remembered me she asked me for my phone number and she told me she was gonna call me back. never heard from her. #2 I tried the breakfast sandwich twice, The bun was hard and the meat had A nasty taste to me.

Dogs allowed Room was or seemed clean We was given a late checkout and the room was being cleaned by 1015am, way before the 1100am checkout. My items were thrown in the trash and I really want to be reimbursed for my item.

Nice location but unprofessional behavior by the manager Alexis

Good location

I booked two conjoint rooms and had to pay upfront for the booking. When I checked in, my rooms were on opposite sides of the hallway. Went to the front desk to try and fix the issue and was told nothing could be done because I booked with a third party. My name and number were then left for the manager Alexis and was told she would call me the next day but I never heard from her. At checkout I tried to talk to her because I was told she would be there from 7-3 and when I’m checked out at 11 she was not there. I made my reservations way in advance so this added extra stress to my trip that was unnecessary and to top it all off the morning of check out there was a cockroach in my shower.
