Nice stay before cruise.

Front desk staff was awesome. Rooms large clean. Bathroom was nice with hot water in shower. Lighted parking and clean. Very close to stores restaurants with car. Loved fresh brewed coffee anytime.

A clean hotel ruined by a perfume smell and a dead cockroach.

The hotel seemed clean, both the people who checked us in and checked us out were very nice. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and modern. Everything was great except for the two sort of big negatives.

The whole hotel had a weird perfume-y smell, like they were trying to cover something up. We found a dead cockroach in our room and the front desk clerk tried to just offer us snacks as compensation (we ended up staying the whole night so did not expect a refund or anything, more just wanted them to know).

Oneday Stay

We arrived around 330 and the front desk clerk Denny, was spectacular. She not only gave us information about the hotel, but food around town where to good, where not to go.. Overall the stay was not bad, just could not sleep well with the pillows they offer. I tossed and turned, due to the lack of support of my back.

I could not sleep with those pillows. To soft. Also there is no breakfast and we booked this not checking to see that.

The location could be better. Due to construction, most of the exists coming from HOU Airport are closed off and I had to drive an additional 20minutes out of the way in order to get to the hotel.

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. We had an issue with our sink draining and they sent someone to our room. Maintenance arrived right after I called and they corrected the issue. Our stay was very comfortable and we plan to stay again.

The whole staff was wonderful! Free washer/dryer to use daily. Very nice gazebo with grills. Lots of food places. Close by gas stations. Not too far from the beach. Feels like home away from home. Room was a great size with lots of amenities! This place was wonderful.

The shower was a total loss… shower head would hardly put out water and leaking all over. I ended up just taking the head off by hand and getting a shower finally. The bed was ok but, you could feel every spring.

The hotel was in a great location, a grocery store and many restaurants that were just minutes away. Denny & Bella were very helpful and gracious! When they heard that I was there to attend my father's funeral, Bella wrote a very sweet note on their bulletin board. It was very comforting to know that they had my back!

The air conditioner was not working properly. It was sweltering outside and the unit was trying very hard to put out cold air. I was very grateful for the small table fan in my room.
