room was good, could tell there was a recent remodel completed. wife complained the vanity mirror wasn't as bright as desired for make-up application. also there is a step-up to the bath/vanity area that could be problematic as it was not marked.

The first room rented to us had not been cleaned at all. The front desk blamed house keeping. The second room had blood on the sheets clearly not changed just remade the bed. Food in the fridge. Busted toilet paper holder toilet paper rolls on the floor. Dirty towels in the room. Floor was covered in trash. Food wrappers left on the night stand.

I booked a room at the Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Texas City, but the building was actually marked as Super 8. The room and bathroom were only spot-cleaned, and I have pictures to show this. I was very disappointed in the appearance of this building and would like a full refund.

Mold in rooms, we had to move from one, was too tired to keep moving, beds are nice, but the rooms are poorly arranged, they messed up our reservation, we reserved a downstairs room, and they did not save it, even though the room number was on the reservation. There was hair on the shower wall, in the refrigerator, and other places.

Honestly just shut the place down. I booked 2 nights (07/17/25-07/18/25 with checkout being 07/19/25). The first room I was given was already occupied. Then the second room I was given was dirty (floor, bedding), shower was broken, key didn’t work to get in, AC didn’t get room cooled. Finally, the third room was FILTHY (floor, toilet, shower, closet - still had trash in it & hadn’t been swept or mopped), key didn’t work, door was already opened when given room, start of some kind of nest being made on the wall above bed 1, AC didn’t cool room, bedding wasn’t clean. When I told front desk the next day about how the AC in the third room didn’t cool, he (Mike is his alleged name) said I was a liar and that I had turned the AC down before I came down (which had been a grand total of maybe 5 minutes) bc the room was “cool” to him. We had it on 60 all night and he thinks we turned it from 72 to 60 before we came and it went down that quick LOL. When I called him out for saying I was lying, he tried to switch his words. He offers me a FOURTH ROOM & as soon as when step foot inside, it smelt like straight weed. My daughter says “a bug just came in” and I turn around to see a roach. That did it for me. I didn’t even stay my last night and they wouldn’t give me a refund for it nor my pet deposit. I also didn’t receive my $50 “incidental fee” that they stressed to me that I would get back. Just save yourself the money & stay somewhere else.

The first room hadn’t even been cleaned other than the beds made. The second room they put us in was better except the bathroom has a leak and it was definitely coming from a sewer line and it was seeping through the floor.

Would not recommend. We had no way of getting into our room. Management did not have a card that would work for us. We had to call the front desk any time we needed to get into our room. We had no tv on the first night. I called the front desk to fix. I was told that the manager would be there to fix but no one came. On the second night, we were tired from being out all day. We wanted to come in and go to bed, had to call and wait for over 30 minutes for someone to come let us into our room. Seen one other guest with the same issue (no card) so he was also waiting to be let into his room. Outside of hotel was dirty, trash overflowing, smelled bad. Found a dead roach in the room. Luckily never seen any other roaches or insects. We would have left immediately but there were no refunds. I will never return and wouldn’t recommend.

At check in I was told their “system” was down and they couldn’t check me in. I showed them my confirmation and payment and they were fine with that. Both front desk staff memebers seemed clueless. The floors were dirty, rooms was really outdated. There wasn’t a sufficient amount of pillows or towels, and the phone did not work to call front desk. The air conditioner unit was all broken up and taped together. The shower had good pressure however there was no head. The entire night there were people outside coming and going being really loud. NEVER AGAIN!

Staff service was nice but overall the rooms are in poor service. The secound room we were move too had no hot water in the sink. Shower head was not putting out a stream.TV in the room all channels where graining. The first room the bead was broken.

Outdated, shower was a slip hazard, slip and got banged up. Found two roaches. Poor finished walls. No weather channel on TV, anormal interest when traveling. I was not expecting nor wanted much but it was worst than expected. Pay a little more, enjoy your stay a lot more.

Just looking for a cheap, clean and comfortable place before fishing. Walls were very thin, bed was not comfortable and was a metal frame. Sounded like a tin can when you roll over. Will spend $10 more per night across the street next time.

Good thing our door was latched. Around 9:30 am, someone opened the door and moved on. Not a very safe feeing. I’m glad that happened at the end of our stay. I may have found somewhere else.

run down motel, room wasn't turned after i returned from fishing trip after 4pm. had to ask front desk for clean towels. party at pool w load music was unable to sleep. book down the street if you need to any in this town with another hotel worth to pay the extra 20 dollars for cleanliness, quiet, and room turned for your stay.

This place has gone downhill in the last few years. This was always our go to place when visiting Texas City. The rooms smell bad. The sheets were moist and the room damp. The ac units are rarely working appropriately.

The lady at the front desk wasn't friendly at all. She didn't even tell me how to get to the room. There was a guy, I assumed worked there, that kept interrupting her while We were getting my room paid for. Very rude! We were right next to the pool, which didn't look clean. We got to the room and the card reader was loose on the door, making it hard to unlock. We got in the room and all you could smell water damage (very musky). The beds are small and are as hard as a 2x4 and very rickety. The bath tub wasn't clean (still had hair and dirt in it). The shower didn't work very well (sprayed everywhere and horrible water pressure). There is a fridge and microwave and a small table with 2 chairs. The only GOOD thing about the room was there was a big enough space for my dog's crate. $250 for 2 nights in this dump is ridiculous! And if you want to get any sleep here, good luck! People are very loud and obnoxious here!

Stayed at this location a couple of years ago with no issues. Decided it’d be good to stay here again, and I was wrong. The only good part was the check in. The room was disgusting. Floors were dirty, and raised from what I would assume was water damage. Sheets looked like they may had been slept in before we arrive. There was toilet paper stuck to the walls in the bathroom. Aside from the room, there were people with a bbq put set up outside of their room, with lots of people and loud music playing. A group of older women sitting at the pool smoking weed while I was taking my nieces swimming. I expected much more paying 207 dollars for two nights, but I got absolute crap. Don’t recommend this hotel, and won’t ever stay again, no matter what.

Upon arrival, we thought it was going to be nice. Almost immediately we noticed roaches coming out, and our non-smoking room snelled of smoke. There were construction materials filling the room next to us. We went to use the phone to call the front desk, and it wouldn't work! We tried plugging it in, and there was no phone jack in the plug in. Overall, not the best stay

Friendly Service, my room was clean at first instance but the only thing that was disturbing was that on the following morning while I was Shaving a medium sized "Cockroach" came out of the mirror. Yep. Tha was my experience, now if you dont mind roaches popping out while your shaving, then I would say it is decent room for the price
