Ballyraine Guesthouse

Breakfast was great. Hugh's scrambled eggs were some of the best I've tasted anywhere. Wide range of cereals, fresh fruit salad daily plus cooked options and toast. Vegetarians well catered for. Vegan diet presented a bit more challenge but Mary was happy to provide requested items, which was greatly appreciated. Hugh and Mary were most hospitable, and Hugh kindly gave me a lift the first day to help me familiarise myself with the town. I was in Letterkenny for family reasons at a time of high emotional stress, and their kindness and flexibility at a difficult time were immensely helpful. They were always available with local information or just a kind word. I enjoyed the quiet location and chatting to other guests in the mornings over breakfast. When my daughter joined me for a few days, we were able to change rooms easily. Hugh and Mary are really well organised and efficient, it was a pleasure to stay at Ballyraine Guest House - I highly recommend.

Lovely host, charming room, excellent breakfast. (The location was a little hard to find due to a lot of road construction at the time, but that was no one's fault.)

Ultra clean, comfortable bed, very good shower and good hospitality.

The owner and her grandchildren were lovely. Great breakfast included.
