The property is uphill from the train station, so expect a workout to get there. You’ll be greeted by the lovely host, t

Cosy, feels like home. Very clean inside as well. Breakfast includes cereal, bread, coffee, fruits, milk, yogurts. The host is friendly and nice. 5-7mins train ride to Andermatt. Bus stop is right at the door step.

There is no locks on the room door and main door, so anyone could go into the room. Check-in is late at 5pm and check-out at 10am, losing a few hours compared to normal check-in hours. The beds are spaced too close, feels like a concentration camp.

Very friendly and comfortable place to stay with delicious meals

Very friendly staff and atmosphere. The meals were delicious, they made people feel welcome and for a dorm, I think the facilities were good. There's a secure bike room for people travelling by bike.

There isn't much to do in Hospental but given that my stay was very short, I was happy to stay in the hostel and enjoyed the company of other travelers.

Good for overnight stay as a single not with kids

It was close to Andermatt by train 7min, the owners were polite.

I didn’t like that i was not informed that the towel costs money. After showing my surprise, the owner didn’t charge it.

The proprietors are a family owned, so they are very passionate to provide the services. The meal is really excellent.

Very nice place, great price-value ratio

Hospental is an amazing little village. The stay at the Jugi was very pleasant experiance. The staff is very nice, the place is clean. The breakfast was wonderful.

The house is very old and the floor constantly makes cracking noses which is a bit disturbing esp. during the night. But it is what it is I guess, not a big issue at all. :)

The hosts were amazing and couldn't do enough for us. Great dinner and breakfast.

The 6 mattresses in a row in the loft was probably a tad too cozy but we didn't mind for one night and thought it was a laugh.

Super helpful and chatty staff. Fanstastic breakfast. I regret not eating dinner in the hostel - I suspect it would have been wayyy prefereable to the grumpy restaurant across the square. They kindly put me in my own dorm so I didn't have to share with a group of older men.

Nice place deserving a visit!!

very well located for those traveling around on the mountains (biking, hiking, etc), right on the exit to St Gottard and Furka. comfortable rooms with enough space to store your luggage (and garage for the bikes). Towel available for location. very good breakfast, dinner also available (have not tried it). Cozy ambiance and nice staff.

Few showers for the number of guests. I am not sure if reception is open all day [when I arriveed, mid afternoon, and no one was there and a number of guests were waiting already.
