Overall the property was great because it was maybe a 2 minute walk from the train, so very convenient! However, our biggest issue was the washroom which had the sink outside in the room, the toilet separate and then the shower being completely separate which was a bit annoying. We also needed iron which was on another floor so it was a hassle. Another issue was that instead of the fridge being in your room, it is in a shared kitchen where you have your own kitchen but we didnt know of this until much later. Overall the property is nice and at a very good location, but we didnt find the stay/ room to be the most comfortable because of those issues.

What a great experience at GRAND! My family and I have never stayed at shared place before, and I am blown away at how great this place accommodated us. It's in a perfect location to explore the mountains, was beautifully decorated / clean, and the technology to access everything made it so easy to get in and out.
Thanks for a wonder stay. If I'm ever back in Engelberg (and I plan on it), I'll be staying at the GRAND!
