It's not The Ritz.

The hotel is right by the main road and near an excellent supermarket, perfect for onward journeys. It's cheap and clean and the bed was comfortable.

It's a bit rough around the edges - You get what you pay for.

It’s basic but goes a long way in terms of great value

Be aware it shuts at 11pm sharp so ring before booking to ensure it’s possible to arrive later than 11pm. I was lucky arriving at 00:45am and despite waking up the service manager was able to get in to sleep after having booked on this site. Exceptionally nice staff and very accommodating.

Excellent value for the money. Room very clean, bed comfortable. Staff helpful and engaging. Ideal location for overnight stop on route. Continental breakfast very adequate, very good coffee. Reception recently renovated to include a bar, bright decor and reception open later - ideal improvement.

Excellent value for money.

Extremely good value for the price. Room very clean, bed large and extremely comfortable, breakfast very good, only thing missing was eggs. Staff were delightful and helpful. Location ideal, just off the motorway and quiet, perfect for an overnight stay on route. Have stayed many times before, unable to stay for next visit in April as already fully booked. Highly recommend in terms of value for money.

Cold room on arrival and the automatic check in not working so having to sit in the car for an hour before the reception opened up at 5pm after a very long drive.
