It was very tranquil, the host was extremely helpful, great breakfast and the rooms were lovely.
I personally don’t like auto coffee machines, doesn’t quite go with the rustic vibe of the place.

Small heritage hotel situated in beautiful grounds - now with a sea of bluebells and wood anemones . The hotel has few rooms which makes it very intimate and cosy. The decor is superb, beautiful od furniture, lovely paintings. Heritage in abundance.
Comfortable bed, excellent shower and great tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast served in a splendid room and lots of food available. If you have a dog as I did there are ample opportunities for walks.

Lovely of chateau, characterful and in a quiet rural location, yet close to the motorway
The double bed had a footboard making it a little tight for a tall person

A lovely old property full of history. Set in acres of land.
We booked a superior room but it did not feel it. Could not keep the room dark due to the slopping roof and curtains nowhere near the window. A constant humming throughout the night was a cause of irratation.
