Baytree Torquay

Hosts were lovely and welcoming. As it was a special occasion for us, the stay was noted with a beautiful gesture. The bedroom was excellent, very clean. Bed comfy. Shower room spotless. Close to all amenities. Breakfast was freshly cooked with lots of choice. Would stay again without hesitation. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Chris and Karen for making us so welcome 🙂 🙂

A perfect B&B to stay in Torquay

The owners of the property are always very welcoming and its clear they love what they do. The room as usual was spotless and the showers was so big.

Perfect location and hosts

Location was perfect and very easy to find, parking was provided and excellent. The hosts were very friendly and on hand if needed. All in all a wonderful stay.

The matress was a little hard for our liking and the pillows, two was too many but one wasn't enough but this did not spoil our stay.

Great host's, Karen and Chris looked after us from the moment we entered the Baytree. Room was very clean tastefully decorated and just what we needed. Wish we could of stayed longer, will be back.

Quiet location and helpful staff.

Breakfasts are freshly prepared, to order, but have to be ordered the night before. The kitchen is next to the breakfast room, so it's easy for the owners to keep an eye on the progress of the consumption of the meal and bring in the cooked part when ready.

The location isn't right on the sea front, but is convenient for the station and is a short walk from Torre Abbey and the beach. The road train runs from Torre Abbey, for those who have limited mobility.

Chris and Karen were excellent hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Torquay.

The breakfast was excellent. The property was a short walk from the town which was good because it meant that the location was quiet in the evenings. Chris helped us carry our cases and I would definitely recommend this accommodation.

We had a lovely two week stay. We would not hesitate to book the Baytree again in the future.

Location from the sea front was perfect. Karen and Chris were lovely. The room was very clean and there was a lovely ceiling fan to keep us cool. The breakfasts were delicious, we received exactly what we asked for each morning. The Baytree had lots of information about where to visit and Karen and Chris were very helpful when asking directions and recommending where to go.

Breakfast was excellent. By pre-booking items there was no food wastage and the plate gave the customer's ideal choice. The hosts were friendly, efficient and hospitable. The location suited us fine and the parking was convenient and safe. We found suitable evening eating places within walking distances. We ate at two, but there were many to choose from, eat-in and take-away.

Everything was fine just the way was.
