The location and setting of this hotel is beautiful, our room overlooked parkland and sea. The hotel is probably the friendliest hotel we’ve ever stayed in. The staff seem naturally friendly, happy and polite, nothing like the Americanised, corporate, fake, ‘have-a-nice-day’ smiley people we’ve encountered in other hotels on numerous occasions! It was impressive to hear waiting staff conversing with guests, in three or four languages. The food was glorious, we enjoyed the ‘fine dining’ experience every evening and the range of food on offer was outstanding.
Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable and we liked having 2 single duvets on the large queen sized beds, we slept very well.
The pool area was lovely, clean and tidy. Comfortable sun-loungers with pool towels readily available. We felt completely relaxed in this gorgeous hotel and will return.
We knew the hotel had no lift but being two floors up was a bit of a struggle at times. Just be aware if you have mobility problems.
Not keen on the window in bathroom as the bedroom is the other side (not an outside window) although the glass was beautifully decorated and you couldn’t see in or out, it meant if one of us used the toilet during the night the bathroom light lit up the whole bedroom, waking up the other.
Nothing major to dislike and nothing spoiled our stay, just minor points really.

Very calm atmosphere. Very nice staff. Access to adjacent hotel, if you want more activities and vibes. Great breakfast.
Minor details;
The bathroom. Weird water sink with small “sharp” water jet, hard to handle. And the toilet flush didn’t work so well (we had four rooms, all with the same experience)

Wonderful stuff, esoecially Kristijan and Maja, also the reception, kind and sweet.
The pool is lovelly, the food is great, amazing dinner. The old charm wibe of the hotel is such a special thing of Adriana.

The location is peaceful, right next to the seashore.
There is no elevator and connecting corridors are stuck in 2000. SPA & Fitness are in the other sister property and require 200m walk in the street. The communication with the hotel regarding reservation payment was unhelpful and scattered, as it was the check out and final bill settlement (for example, the card terminal did not work and the employee started to fuss around without a solution - we offered to pay in cash just to get out). Lunch boxes that we were given (a pale sandwich, banana and green apple) were closer to a hospital, than “hospitality” food.
