The hotel is virtually family-operated. Overall, the services and quality is comparable to an Ibis Budget. All rooms have some sea view and a balcony (side rooms small ones). The size of regular double rooms is OK, there is enough space to comfortably walk around the double bed. The bathroom is small but also of comfortable size. The breakfast room is spacious; there is a big glass veranda with wonderful sea view (but too cool to sit there in late October). Buffet breakfast involves 4 or 5 kinds of cold cuts, some cheese, scrambled eggs, fried bacon, kinds of fried sausages, several kinds of salty and one or two sweet pastries, cereals, some fruits, canned juice, coffee etc. from a machine, even vitamin tablets (the hotel sends a complete list in a confirmation e-mail). All is grocery quality; no complaint about the amount. Location is next to the Jadranska Magistrala (2x2 lanes) but the windows keep the noise out. The nearest motorway exit is about 10 min. drive. The city center is more than 3 km. If you have a car: it is very difficult to find parking spots in the old city or its close neighborhood. There is a good free parking lot at the police station at the xsing of Ul Domovinskog rata and Ul. bana Josipa Jelacica; along the latter the foot bridge in the center over the bay is some 10 minutes on foot. The tower of Zadar Cathedral is worth climbing to enjoy astonishing view (4 or 5 EUR). Zadar Ferryport Gaženica is 6 min. by car from the hotel. Can recommend a day trip to Dugi Otok – you need a car there.
Access: If you arrive from the East on the Magistrala, the entrance to the street is easy to miss. If so or coming from elsewhere, leave the Magistrala at the junction between a Kaufland and a Lidl store Eastboung on Bankovacka cesta and turn right at the frist xsing onto Ul. Nikole Jurisica, pass Hotel Porto and the first street leading to the back of the postal distribution service and take the next sharp and narrow rigth entrance onto Ul. S. Miletica
1. First we were given room 106 where strong sewage smell was felt. After we complained, they quickly gave us room 101, which was fine.
2. The coffee machine at breakfast cannot serve some drinks incl. hot chocolate and cappucino with chocolate.

Comfortable beds, clean bathroom, good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff who showed up at an agreed time so we could get hot water from the kitchen.

We had a very good breakfast there. This is perfect hotel for one night stay.
It is located in industrial part of Zadar, and far away from city center. If you want to go anywhere you need to take a car.
