We were totally happy with the accommodations and location except for the lighting in the hallway.

The apartment was centrally, located to all amenities. ( restaurants bars, pharmacies groceries stores & cruise port).

The lighting in the hallways stairs area. Switches should be lit some how and the lights stay on longer. I miss the last step on the stairs and slammed into the wall when the lights suddenly went out.

Fabulous location - close to cruise terminal Many, many restaurants, close by for coffee or wine.

Beautiful Apartment in the Heart of Trieste

The accommodation exceeded my expectations – the apartment was clean, spacious, well-equipped, and located right in the city center. Communication with the hosts was excellent and everything went smoothly. Every morning, I enjoyed watching the lively streets of Trieste from the window. The evenings were unforgettable – famous Italian songs played below our windows, people were dancing, and my sister and I happily joined in. I still miss that atmosphere – I truly love Italian culture and architecture, and this place brought it to life in the most beautiful way.

There’s nothing I would criticize – everything was perfect. I would love to come back again!

Not what we ve expected considering the pics on the site

Seems a lot bigger in the pictures, yet you can barely go around the bed without bumping into a wall. This studio is for one person fit. The bathroom is very, very small and the bed overtakes the whole room. It is centrally positioned but at times it is very hard to enter the building due to a winery clients that practically sit in front of the building, preventing you from entering.

Not clean at all: the plates and other cuttlery were dirty from previous use. Same goes for the bathroom, traces of other people were present. The room is extremely small and it could be a could choice for one, but not two people. Everything is very modest. At nights it is very very noisy, since the caffees below the apartment play very loud music. the windows need a better isolation

Bar hoppers choice

Very central location. Great for a quick visit of Trieste. Convenient parking nearby. Supermarket, veggie and fruit store, bars, gelato, pharmacy, restaurants all just downstairs. Bed, shower, “living room” nice. Apartment is small and bright. Honest about noise of city life to be expected. Good double glazed windows. Elevator is a big plus to quickly arrive on 4th floor.

Dining choices around the neighborhood not inspiring. Maybe a list of suggestions in the room might help. Sewage smell on ground floor when entering the building needs to be fixed. I guess it’s not normal.

The location was great. The apartment had elevator, great places to eat all around. Just steps to Piazza Della Unita and the water. The host responded very quickly to all our questions.

A delightful stay in Beautiful Trieste

Piazza Grande Residence is in the center of Trieste, in a pedestrian zone. Excellent location and beautiful premises. We are very pleased with our choice. We received the necessary instructions to enter the apartment, and found the unit to our liking. However, we started receiving confusing messeges from the company that manages the Residence They said that we should "make our payment in cash put it on the kitchen table, and someone will come pick it up". They added that they conduct business 50 kilometers away. In our long experience with Booking.com hotels this situation never happened before and we would not accept it. Our credit card information had been already submitted as guarantee when we booked the unit. This informal communication was really out of order and inappropiate. Furthermore, we found that the kitchen in the apartment lacked basic things like smalll pots, a knive, and other necessary instruments. We use the kitchen particularly to do breakfast. However, the story ends well. Illaria, the charming owner of the unit, came personally and fixed the matter. We were happy to meet Illaria. She is an intelligent entrepreneur. Her property is really excellent. Our stay of six days was pleasing and we left impressed by the beauty, elegance and ambiance of this great city.

The kitchen lacked basic elements such as small pots, knives etc. and there was an unacceptable communication with the Agency that administres the property. The owner, Illaria, fixed the matter, and we were delighted to have met her.

New, fresh and clean, comfortable apartment. Great communication with the host. Perfect if you want to go out and stay awake during the night.

The apartments are just above (in the same house) a very popular bar which is open and crowded until late hours (2-4 am on a Tuesday night). The noise is that loud that even earplugs don't help.

Location is great, you are just in the middle of the city center where all bars and restaurants are. No need to use the car or a taxi to move around.

Unfortunately being right in the city center, some nights the place can be extremely noisy as there are many bars and restaurants in close proximity

The location it is very central

I didn't get the advertised room, it was tiny. It is obviously someone's apartment they use take money on Booking .com. Unless you like being cramped don't stay here.

A short stay for one night. Very pleasant host. Apartment is located right in the center of Trieste in a quiet street is on the 5 floor with an elevator.

a bit noisy in the night, being surrounded by locals, bars, etc. We had only a Friday night experience, I can imagine it is less noisy on other days. Attention to parking, we got a penalty for exceeding just by 15 minutes our 8-hour pre-paid parking period...

The place is run by wonderful people who were always there when I needed them. I had a very late train to Trieste, the staff were happy to wait and help me check-in. The location cannot be more central. Located rite next to wonderful cafes and pizzerias... I would say there was nothing to not like about the place.

The apartments are newly renovated. Everything seems clean and the service is top notch.

As the the apartments are part of historical site, having a usual AC, with the motor outside the room, hanging on the building, is not possible. Therefore there are portable AC in each room. Living in the attic was a nightmare as the temperature never got below 29 degrees circa, with AC at full blow. We asked to be moved and we were moved the next night were the temperature was 27. This was fine for me but not for my girlfriend. She does not like sleeping in this temperature. At 29 with full blow, it is not possible to sleep 1st because of the temperature but also because of the noise from the AC. Take this into consideration
