Great host, location and ambience

Fantastic host, who has legit pride in his city and its history. Super helpful with suggestions of what to see and where to go. Helped us book reservations for some great meals, too. The bedroom was amazing in size and decor. We will return to this property next time we vist.

Great location and value for money

The location was amazing. It's very close to the main square and old town which has lots of good restaurants. Stefano, the host was very helpful and informative. The room was comfortable and I loved the decor.

The bathroom was separate to the bedroom which I wasn't aware of at the time of booking but it was reserved for our personal use. It was a bit awkward having to walk through the communal space to access it.

We had a great stay in Trieste! The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was tasty and fresh every morning. The host was very kind and helpful. He provided us with recommendations on what to see/visit during our stay. Everything was well organised, highly recommended!

Would stay here again, great location, large apartment.

The location was great...right downtown, near the water, restaurants and sites. The host was nice, met us at the apartment and gave us suggestions of places to go...he even made reservations at (what turned out to be) a wonderful restaurant! The apartment was roomy and very clean. The parking garage was within walking distance and we were given a 10% off coupon (reasonable rate of $22/day).

We didn't like having to check in at 6pm, thought that was unreasonably late. WiFi never worked (we could have called the host but it wasn't critical).

Basically you pay the location as it is 20 mt away to the main square, but the apt is not remarkable at all

The accommodation was excellent and our host Stefano friendly and helpful. Our room was well appointed and nicely furnished. Thank you for a great two days. The location is spot on and within walking distance of the cruise port and the hop on hop off bus right in the centre of the city but we heard no noise whatsoever.

Nothing of any consequence. We are not used to sweet cake for breakfast and asked for fruit but it was not forthcoming. Also I would have appreciated a face washer and tissues in the bathroom.

Perfect location with friendly people in an absolutely beautiful town right next door to Slovenia.

The location was perfect for our requirements. The meeting for our tour guide was just around the corner. There’s a supermarket close by for all your groceries. Simply cross the narrow street in front of the property and then walk through a short alleyway. Here you will find not only the supermarket but the square full of tourist gems and loads of various shops. This beautiful Venetian property is well over a 100 years old and is in great condition considering the age. We were Impressed that the owner fixed the blocked shower promptly,once notified. His communication via email was great and very much appreciated.

A couple of minor details in one of the bedrooms of which the owner had under control as they required time to fix.

very good accommodation in the very center of Trieste with historical spirit of Napoleon Bonaparte

B&B Torrebianca is located in a historical building in which in 1797 Napoleon Bonaparte stayed during his visit in Triest. The exact information you can get from the book available at the reception. When you arrive you can shortly park your car on the left side of the street (one way street) and look for huge doors to this building. Loud-speaking system is on the left side. Be assertive as you can really doubt if the GPS system has guided you to a proper place. The apartment located on the 2nd floor is accessible by the elevator. The room which we had was very large, with convenient sofa, clean bathroom. The windows are into the courtyard so in the evening it is quite inside while it is quite noisy on the Triest streets. The location is great – just 50m from the main Triest square – Plaza of Unity. Finding a parking in Italy city is always a challenge, but in the evening several places marked with blue line (for tourists) were available. The hosts was extremely friendly and gave us several good suggestions re sightseeing of Triest. In case I arrive Triest once again I would prefer to stay in this location once again 😊

The location was excellent. Stefonzo was the best host I have ever come across. He greeted us at almost midnight with the warmest of welcomes possible. Nothing was any trouble and we never felt uneasy around him.

Stefano is an outstanding host. The property is a block from Piazza Unità d'Italia, Trieste’s main square. Stefano recommended some great eating establishments and sights to see. Breakfast simple, yet delicious.

Trieste is well worth a visit of several days - the town's architecture and a huge range of museums.

The location has top marks - one block south of the Piazza Unita, and at the top of V.di Cavana, the High St. of the old town with some excellent restaurants in the alleys. A plaque says that Napoleon stayed in this building, for one night! - now it is a subdivided old apartment block. Mostly remarkably quiet, and the room furnished like any family bedroom. The owner is charming, and will brief you fully on all aspects of 'his city', and has maps and reference books.

Italian breakfast here is modest in scale - croissant, toast, cereal, juice, a sweet baked cheesecake, coffee: it's enough in this climate!

For the position and the price, I will definitely stay there again.

The location is very good, for visiting the old city. The parking was good and close by and cheap. Stefan is really helpful and wants to make sure your stay is good.

The TV progams are a little limited, no German or English channels, he needs to provide some Int news channels. The check in times are a bit inconvenient, if you arrive at lunch time, but then your sight seeing starts early. Just leave your bags in the car in the carpark, until you can check in.

location/ facilities/ breakfast and cleanliness! Stefano was amazing, we felt like knowing him for ages and was v accommodating ans flexible with everything! the appartement is literally 5 mins walk from the port.
