Best of the best <3 Absolutely 1st class & helpful staff, clean and cozy, and in the very core of the center of the City - and still calm and private. 5 stars!!
For the largest rooms (12 beds etc) I absolutely recommend to install A BETTER AIR quality (sufficient air exchange)
Cuz, Nothingggg is as precious as sound, deep sleep while breathing fresh, clean air :)

The staff, the ambiance, location, architecture. Due to high ceilings no sense of claustrophobia.
Had to vacate lovely sitting room at 23hrs, silly. Moschito in the bedroom, yes at this time of year! Strange?

Amazing interior, feels like professional designers worked on it
Everything clean, lots of space both in the sleeping and in the living room
Very helpful and friendly staff
Good location, city center, 20 mins walk from the central train station
Wi-Fi flawless
Kitchen has everything to cook
Spacious lockers
Lots of great people to meet
getting onto the upper beds is a little clumsy, the metallic stairs are not comfy

My stay was fantastic and far exceeded my expectations. The common areas are beautiful, cozy, and well-organized, with plenty of relaxing spaces and entertainment options. The location is unbeatable, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the bathrooms are excellent and very clean. The value for money is outstanding, I would totally recommend this place.
There’s very little I can say in terms of things I didn’t like. If I could suggest any improvements, it would be to upgrade the air conditioning system in the rooms, which is a bit basic, and to provide a more secure place to store luggage after check-out.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The hostel is really well located. There is also a bike garage if needed. overall really good, and not too big, which I personally prefer
Only some details are missing, like an vegan breakfast option or some equipment in the bathroom.

Hostel is walking distance to the city centre and rooms are large providing plenty of space to each guests in the dormitory.
Wooden floor is a bit noisy as well as the water pipes in the common bathrooms. There is no elevator to the third floor which can be an issue when traveling with multiple luggages. Breakfast options can be improved cause the kitchen gets crowded.

Good location, clean, friendly and nice aesthetics. Breakfast included was a big plus
The top bunks were a bit scary high and there was a medium sized spider on my bed. But it was friendly and docile so no big deal.

Staff were excellent. Location right next to the sea and the old town. Sitting room exceptional. Beds were comfortable
Can't think of anything negative apart from it being on the 3rd floor.

The hostel is fairly centrally located, with many restaurants, cafes and bars nearby. There's a nice common area that is very nicely decorated. The dorm room is very spacious as they didn't put more beds than necessary, and the beds are significantly far apart from each other. There are huge lockers, but you should bring your own padlock. All the staff was really nice. Unfortunately, I stayed there for a very short time, but even during that time I managed to feel the pleasant atmosphere and good vibes of the hostel. Additionally, I personally found it to be an interesting and unexpected fun fact that Ivo Andrić during his diplomatic career lived for a time in the apartment where the hostel is located today.
Having a few extra hangers in the bathrooms would be nice. There's no elevator, but it's understandable since the building is more than 200 years old. Also the wooden floor in most of the hostel is squeaky. Fans for each bed are a substitute for air conditioning, but I was already prepared for that.

A comfortable place to stay with good enough facilities. Toilets and beds were clean enough. Beds were also spaced far apart, helping to add some level of privacy despite the lack of curtains. Lockers were spacious. The people I shared a room with were quiet and I had a good sleep. The toilets were very private as you can lock the entire toilet door, but don't worry as there are other toilets in the hostel if the nearest one is taken. I liked the free breakfast, especially considering that the price was pretty decent (26.93 euros per person for one night). Kitchen was clean and well maintained.
There are also good house rules here, such as putting your dishes away in the dishwasher, and removing your bed linens when you leave. This assured me that the linens were cleaned after every guest.
The staff were pretty friendly and nice though I saw a different person every time. This might be one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in, in terms of value and privacy! I would definitely consider staying here again if I come to Trieste again :)
Door was a little hard to find, need to walk up a number of steps with your heavy bags :(

stayed in a 10 bed dorm which was huge, didn’t feel like so many people because of its size! amazing views over the sea and harbour too!! staff were super friendly, and even got a really nice breakfast in the morning!!
they could use a few more showers and toilets, but that’s not so much of an issue!

Relaxed, welcoming, spacious, in an old building in the centre of town close to many museums, the hostel could not be better placed.

beautifully decorated common areas, generous free breakfast, comfortable beds, friendly and helpful staff
showers were very tiny, as a bigger person it was difficult to shower and not enough space to get dressed after so had to walk back to the room in my towel or else leave the shower and go into a toilet. the only complaint!

The hostel is very spacious and in a great location. The staff is helpful and it is very clean. Good also for working in the common space by day.
Unfortunately the common space is closed by 11pm. Moreover the floor is very old and thus pretty noisy if people walk around in your room.

The location is perfect, right next to the harbour. Staff were amazing and so friendly. Wifi worked well and the breakfast was good. The lounge was very cosy and cute. I recommend this hostel!
Towel didn't include to the price. Also laundry costs 10€ which is little bit too much.

I chose this hostel b/c of its location (18 min by foot from the train station) & its inclusive breakfast (scrambled eggs, toast/jam, some cold cuts, cheese, some cereal). The rooms are spacious (w/ high ceilings) with individual lockers; the beds a bit wider than normal and VERY comfy; cozy kitchen facilities; a lovely large sitting room & clean bathrooms. The area around this hostel is just steps from bars & restaurants, 18 minutes up to the Cathedral / Castillo -- I was pleased with my choice & highly recommend it! The staff also were really helpful on basic questions I had...
Its inclusive breakfast had very few options (scrambled eggs, toast/jam, some cold cuts, cheese, some cereal) but anyway it was enough to get me started! Keep in mind it's on the 3rd floor with no elevator (in case this is an issue for anyone)

Exceptionally clean, great location in an older building. The hostel is well renovated and very comfortable. Helpful staff
Very creaky floors, and the street below can be really noisy. Not a huge problem if you’re not a light sleeper

best hostel we’ve ever stayed in. Everything was done so well, great location, chill atmosphere, comfy beds, great ventilation, awesome fit out, great kitchen with dishwasher and awesome chill out space. Many hostels are hard to spend time in your room, but this one was lovely and just perfect.
the only thing I can think of is that the floors in the bedrooms are a little creaky so can disturb you when sleeping, but otherwise this place was absolutely awesome. would 100% recommend and Trieste is a beautiful place to visit!

Modern hostel in a cool building, great to have breakfast included!
No air conditioning - only fans - so was very hot at night. Also right next to a bar playing very loud music.
