Location

Impossible for taxi cab to locate with the given address. The Internet-based entrance “key” didn’t work for over an hour. I had to contact the host after hours to get it to work. He wasn’t that helpful though. Residents had to let me in the building to get started. There is an elevator but only AFTER you drag your luggage up 6-8 stairs. The 007 door locks (multiple locks and devices) were a hassle. Two people in our party ripped our knuckles up on the door handle.

Nice room, complicated stay.

Modern room, close to restaurants and the harbour

We were disappointed that the accommodation was not an apartment, as indicated from Booking.com, but was in fact a room with a shared kitchen. When we arrived late in the evening we had no hot water, as the hot water machine needed to be switched on, so we had to wait for a while to have a shower. Later the hot water machine was screeching so we needed to turn it off during the night. I did not have internet on my phone so accessing the front door code was a challenge and required hot spotting with another phone, making it complicated.

Disaster experience, Entry to appartment is not possible.The key box is located inside the building, which is not accesible as it has a main entrance that is closed. after 3 hours waiting one resident opened the main enterance to let us in. Host was not reachable , The room was not clean.phone off. Then calling 10 times, Phone was ringing no pickup, Sheets were completely dusty, hairs of dog in the bed.

Beautiful building in a great location

Exceptionally clean the cleaning stuff should be congratulated. I love the architectural features of the building. The location was excellent. Kitchen had everything you need.. lots of little extras.

Good central location in a quiet building and nice old building. Nice room, but …

Relatively small bed, even though there would habe been enough space for a broader one. Ridiculous curtains, so that you have at 05:30 a.m. the full daylight in the room. One little bottle of shower gel, not enough for one shower, for 2 people for 3 nights …

Good if you are not sensible for sleeping in bad beds

The building and apartment are very nice and the location is good for moving around. All is new and the flat is well kept.

The bed is not comfortable at all, It count for 50% of the overall rating for me and I didn’t slept well. Some pot could be changed as it is a bit old and ruined.

Avoid this place, especially if you arrive late

Avoid this place at any costs, first of all the communication and unprofessionalism of the owner is something I haven’t seen in a while and trust me I have been traveling quite a lot. I’ve arrived at the property at 23:25 because of the traffic jam on the highway and I thought it was alright since check in time is until 23:30, while I’ve parked my car (which is extremely hard in this location) and found the right door the owner didn’t answer any of my messages nor calls. He didn’t contact us in order to see where are we nor that he is leaving. We waited for 40 minutes in front of the building and had to leave to search for another accommodation. Contacted booking customer support about it, we will see how will it go. Don’t think this place is a scam, but as a businessman myself, who tries to take care of his customers, I wish nothing but failure to this owner with this kind of attitude.

The property was very clean, nice decorated and with all you need for a short stay. Good location and nice staff. Normally, I could rate it better… but…

My son ( 23 years old) was sleeping on the sofa and woke up with back pain. That sofa should be replace it. Is not more good for sleep on it.

quite a big place, with a decent pizzeria not far, near the sea and the center. all freshly renewd, in a noce and quite neighbrhood. i liked that

hard to find parking place available on a sunday evening. took alomost one hour.

Great place to stay to explore all the beauty of Trieste

Lovely spacious apartment. Convenient location. The washing machine was very handy after already travelling for over 3 weeks.

The check in details were a little complicated as they mentioned a boom gate but I now think they were just talking about the wooden doors at entry of apartment.

Extraordinary hospitality. Very clean place and good extras(coffee, juice). We got a very nice wine, I feel that is a very unique gift from hosts. I really liked the washing option, everything was prepared and provided by the host.

Good value for money for location and quality of the apartment

Location was great (parking complex but free) in the heart of the city. Room and bathroom were spacious and all equipment for cooking was in the common shared kitchen in the hallway. Furniture was brand new and the bed very comfy

The technology to open up the front door and the mechanics to do the self check-in were complex although everything worked. Maybe smart lockers would have been better than the key box

Left A Lot to be Desired

Location was nice to walk to promenade and restaurants, but that was it's only redeeming feature.

I was told there was parking, even when I specifically asked beforehand. What they should have said was there is street parking if available,which there never was, so we had to pay at a garage almost 1/2 mile or more away. AC was in one room but worked for both although not as cool as we would have liked. Wifi went in and out (basically barely worked) our entire stay. If I came back to Trieste, I wouldn't stay here again.

Lovely residence in a good location

Nicely located in a residential area but close to the city centre and the sights, secure entry system was a bit confusing but we got there in the end.

The sofa bed is not of the best quality and the bar running across the middle could be felt in my back all the time, the recommended car parking is pretty expensive at 18 Euro per night we used it one night and then parked on the street without charge or problem.

Great location, very nice apartment in an old building, clean.

We didn't have a good communication with the host. Although it's a self check in, we got to the apartment without host explaining how to enter the apartment (we didn't even know that we need two different codes, we didn't get the street number, the building), it was rather frustrating and we lost a lot of time trying to figure out these things. Previously, before coming, I sent them a message/question about parking in front of the building and some other stuff, the answer never came, except for the link to the public parking which was actually full when we came, so we had to look for a parking all around the city and then walk quite a lot to get to the apartment with all the bags. Also sofa bed is very uncomfortable for sleeping and the bed sheets were synthetics which was even worse (not the case with the main bed though).
