Location

The staff member (woman) was unfriendly and her English was limited. Despite clearly informing her that I don't speak Italian, she continued speaking to me in Italian—just louder. The room wasn't clean enough (dust on windowsill), and the sheets and towels should have already been replaced (seriously, they don't cost that much). I didn't take a shower because the shower cabin was aged and dingy.

i liked the city

it is an apartment in a multi-storey building. very good location. pleasant hostess. in the morning the table in the kitchen was beautifully laid. good breakfast

parking a car on the street is practically impossible. of course it can be done. a large parking lot is located 10/15min away and costs 15eur. there was renovation work going on next to the house which caused a lot of noise

B&B based on a floor of a residential block, Run by a friendly owner on third floor. Large room with shared facilities, just across the corridor.

Front of hotel currently covered by scaffolding which made it difficult to open the window!

I was very happy with my 3 night stay at this B and B. Very warm environment and good value.

The location is very good near the historic centre of Trieste. The breakfast is an excellent full meal with boiled eggs, ham and cheese, bread, croissants, fruit and cappuccino. The jam was home made! The host Daniella is kind and helpful.

This charming B and B is on the third floor with no lift. This is not unusual for Italy or Europe generally but it would be difficult to access for those with mobility issues.

A friendly family-run Bed & Breakfast, at a good price in handy location - breakfast as added bonus

Good breakfast spread including croissants and pancakes with home-made marmalades, fresh fruits, and excellent coffee. Friendly, welcoming landlady, who wasn't phased by my arriving after midnight due to plan delay. Located five minutes walk from harbour front, and near major piazza, tourist places, and restaurants/cafes/pubs.

Would have been even better if the rooms had been en suite, but I knew this wasn't going to the the case when booking - and the showering facilities were impressive.

Place was in the city centre, beautiful room, great bathroom, clean and nice host

Very nice place. Every room in different colour and style. 2 bath rooms on the floor - nice, clean. The whole flat is fragrant. Very friendly hostess - gave us recommandation what we ask for. Nice breakfast (juice, caffe, corns, breat, yogurt, fuite - very rich)

Difficult to find parking but this is usual for accomodation in the centre everywhere.

The facility was in the middle of Trieste and easy to get around town. The room was large and comfortable.

Bathroom across the hall is not ideal. Being 4 floors up with no elevator could be a problem for some.

Perfect location, easy check in. Daniela was lovely. Great breakfast and really spacious room considering it was only a single bed! loved that there were two full bathrooms so despite being full the whole time I was there there was no waiting.

The Owner was very kind, smiling and friendly. She made us a wonderfull breakfast 1/2 hour early as we had to lave early at our bikes. The bikes were safely stored at the staircase entrance in the old building that couldn't be more centrally located in Trieste. The flat on third floor and room was furniced with old furniture and it gave a very cousy atmoshere. Of course everything including the two shared bathrooms was clean.. Would definately stay longer if we had to stay.

Nice price, great location, could be more hygienic

Great location! The shared spaces, like the entrance an the bathrooms look nice. The price is also great.

The room itself didn't feel very clean: lots of hairs in the bed and surfaces were sticky (including the floor). Doors and light switches were dingy. There were no curtains, so it gets light very soon. At breakfast the stuff like cheese and ham wasn't cooled en looked like it was out there for a long time (keep in mind: there's no air-conditioning and it was around 35°C). I still ate the ham, but I completely regretted it later on.

Trieste is worth visiting

Good location, very close to the center of the city. Nice breakfast.

Be prepared to carry your luggage 3 floors on stairs (75 steps). The paid parking (from 8 to 20) is available on the nearby streets,on the blue line. It is a very busy area but not impossible to find a place.

Enjoyed the location as it is close to the main square and the train station. Located in a quiet street. Lovely breakfast.
