Very nice hotel

We are staying at this hotel last few years and it is always great to stay when in Trieste. The receptionists are very kind and helpfull. Breakfast is also very good and with excellent coffee. Beds are comfortable and bath is nice. Parking is not far away from the hotel. Location is the best in city

Great location, comfortable rooms, and exceptionally clean.

Everything exceeded my expectations with two exceptions the room has only two electric outlets making management of phone/computer charging a challenge.

Service at breakfast was exceptionally poor, waiter seemed absent.

False claims about parking, tiny room with electricity malfunction for 280 Euro.

The breakfast was not great but OK .The person setting up breakfast brought the bread in at 7:30 even though the breakfast starts at 7. The best thing about the hotel was the location and the staff was kind.

When looking for a hotel, we filtered out ones that have parking! There IS NO parking at the hotel and the garage we were directed to is 300m away! The fact that there's no sidewalk part of the way there made it worse, lugging luggage on the street! I think Booking did a very poor job of checking hotel's claims about parking. The room was tiny and there was a switchboard in it that made a buzzing noise. We called the reception and they sent a person to check what the problem was. He solved it by switching off electricity for the bathroom and bedside lamps. Absolutely unacceptable for the price of €280!!!

Breakfast, room, and location were great. Staff were fantastic!

I did not like using the stairs as there was no hand rails and could be slippery. I would use them very carefully. I prefer to use the stairs and not the elevators. It was my choice.

Quiet and comfortable, great location

I’ve stayed in a lot of Italian hotels and they’re normally very noisy with rock hard beds. Not this one! Lovely comfy bed and the soundproofing was so good that I didn’t hear either the noise in the street or the people in the room next door! So I slept really well. Location is also amazing, right by the main square and steps from the seafront.

Breakfast wasn’t amazing but it was fine. It would’ve been nice to have more than just the reception area as a place to sit and relax.

Trieste is a wonderful city and this is a good place to locate

It is the annex to the Grand hotel Duchi d’Aosta. Excellent location and very helpful staff. Good size room. For bar and all other facilities use the Duchi across the road

Within walking distance to the cruise port.

If you are going on a cruise, this is the perfect place to stay as it is within walking distance of the cruise port. The hotel is modern and the staff was wonderful. Just know it's not a luxury hotel and the rooms are small.

Breakfast not included AND ridiculously expensive (29 euros pp or 39 euro pp depending on what you get) AND across the street. Even though it has an elevator, you will be using the stairs. The elevator was a standard size, but could not lift people and luggage at the same time... they had to be sent separate because it could not hold more than a hundred kilos at a time. And the elevator is S-L-O-W to the point of being comical. Dr Nefario would have beaten it in a race (yes, Minions reference). The rooms are small and the building is very close to an apartment building as in we could have climbed in the girl's living room who was looking directly in our hotel room. I also know she likes parmesan cheese on her pasta... that's how close. We kept the curtains closed so no big deal. The staff leaves at 11pm so if there are any issues you have to go across the street. This is a good crash pad for the night, but it's budget so just know what you're getting into.

Best Hotel in Triest

The staff was extremely nice, room was clean and big, the Location is amazing. You feel like in a 5 Star Hotel. Would definitely go again!
