Kingsley Guest House

We had a wonderful stay at Kingsley Guest House in Edinburgh! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well looked after. The guest house has a lovely atmosphere, and everything was clean, comfortable, and well presented. The hospitality was excellent, and the attention to detail made our stay even more enjoyable. The room was cosy and relaxing, providing the perfect place to unwind after exploring the beautiful city of Edinburgh. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and couldn’t have asked for more. Kingsley Guest House is a lovely place to stay, and we would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Edinburgh. We would definitely love to return on our next visit!

Location was excellent

Traditional old building

No English breakfast

My room was really cool, I like the black and white decor and large windows overlooking the street. The location is great, I chose to uber but there’s buses right there too.

I didn’t like that I couldn’t get in contact with anyone via messages. I could call and reach someone, and once I arrived they were helpful in person. But leading up to my stay it was crickets on messages. It was pretty frustrating. Also the room was mostly clean but the bathroom walls clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while. There were some old stains on it. I also really didn’t like the extremely strong fragrance when you walk into the main entry. I’m not sensitive to fragrances but this was so overwhelming every time I walked in. It didn’t smell bad necessarily just way too much that it was off putting for me.
