Scot Townhouse

Very clean room and bathroom, beautifully decorated, and excellent hospitality. A lovely and comfortable stay!

Needs more options for breakfast.

Jonathan was the perfect host. I had some serious flight delays, and he greeted me at the door when I finally arrived with a smile, breakfast, and the welcome I needed. Every morning he and I talked books and reading. He had excellent suggestions for where to go in the city, as well as clear directions on how to get there. The room was clean, tidy, and exactly as advertised. They even had a universal adapter for the outlets, in case a you forgot one (I brought mine, but what a nice touch!). The location is on several major bus routes which made getting to the hot spots easy, and nipping back for a midday nap simple. I felt very well looked after, and knew I had a safe place to return to at the end of the day.

This guest house is a true gem. The owner, Jonathan, is such a great host, full of helpful information about the city and a delight to chat with. The room was quite comfortable. We really liked the location of the townhouse- it is out of the craziness of the main tourist district, but incredibly convenient by bus. One highlight was dinner just down the street at Haldi--possibly the best Indian food we have had (thanks for the rec Jonathan!)
