Mayfield Suites

Price was high

The property is lovely and really clean. Close to the centre . The owners were also lovely and let us leave car there when we went out. We would stay again and recommend .

Late check-in, nice room! :)

"I usually book hotels based on the photographs provided; however, upon arrival, the room I was offered bore no resemblance to the images shown on Booking.com. I strongly suggest that the marketing materials be updated to accurately reflect the available rooms and their respective prices. Initially, I was offered a room in the basement, which I immediately declined. I was then informed that the room matching the photographs would require an additional fee, which I find unacceptable given that it was the room I had already booked. I was prepared to leave when the staff offered an alternative room on the main floor. Although it was still not the room I had originally paid for, I accepted it due to exhaustion from a long journey. On a positive note, the property is beautiful, clean, and quiet. The availability of parking was also a significant advantage for me. Furthermore, the location is well-served by public transport, with buses providing easy access to the city center, which is also just a 15-minute drive away. I am sharing this as constructive criticism so that the management can review their online presentation and ensure that the prices and room descriptions are consistent with the reality of the accommodations. The shower was excellent, and the staff member who assisted us was very effective. He went above and beyond to resolve the situation and ensure that we stayed."

"I felt there was a lack of transparency in the advertising, which came across as misleading. I suggest that the marketing department updates the listings so that the prices and photographs truly reflect the reality of the rooms offered."
