Worth the money.

Mixed emotions regarding our visit

The location was excellent and close to most amenities. The breakfast and the staff that were on hand were outstanding; friendly and helpful.

Our experience of the restaurant was very disappointing. We were given information by reception that the last orders had to be placed by 20:45 and that the kitchen closed at 21:30; We witnessed that other patrons were still being served much later than this which we were unhappy about. We were shown to a table immediately next to the maitre D podium/ entrance to the restaurant which, considering the season and weather we were experiencing, proved to be draughty; exacerbated further when people stood outside the nearby outer door smoking which made our experience even worse. We were begrudgingly upon our request placed at another table. We found the menu choices sparse and the quality of the food disappointing. We had taken the time to dress in smart attire in expectation of a quality experience but had the feeling we were in a pub/cafe environment. Considering the quality of choice and staff professionalism that we experienced with each time we went to breakfast we expected so much more. We were also disappointed with the quality of mattress topper which was prone to drift during the night causing discomfort. We had previously visited 2 years earlier during the renovations and found the experience a real pleasure and our expectations now that the renovations are completed became an anti climax.

Great stay, but swimming pool needs cleaning

Very cozy and clean, except for the swimming pool - it was really dirty. If you plan to go swimming don’t count on that. On the negative side, lobby shop declined to take cash payments (while the day we arrived there was no problem with that!) On the bright side, absolutely the best breakfast I’ve ever had, huge selection of delicious food. Loved it

Fantastic stay, we will definitely return.

This hotel is wonderful, the staff are very friendly and helpful, check in was smooth and easy which we were very thankful for after a long day travelling. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, great start to the day. Our room was absolutely lovely with a fantastic bathroom and very comfortable beds. Parking is great, the hotel itself is in a brilliant location. I would definitely recommend staying here, we will be back in the future.

The coffee capsules provided are not the best around, and the coffee for breakfast is from a machine, and is not the greatest either.

Stylish, Comfortable and Welcoming

The decor and architecture in this hotel is fantastic, rooms were very large, comfortable and clean. Reception staff were very accommodating and friendly!

The bar/restaurant were a little slow for drink orders however I think there might have been a show in the theatre that evening. Could have done with some extra staff to accommodate.

1. Walking distance from the train station - approx 3 to 5 min walk 2. Clean & spacious room (incl bathroom) - the room has a balcony with a nice view. 3. There is a vending machine near the reception which sells drinks, snacks and toiletries (e.g. toothbrush & toothpaste)

1. The hotel has charged my card the full amount of hotel accommodation fee on the date of check-in before my arrival, but the receptionist still asked me to settle the hotel fee when checking-in. I told her that the hotel has charged my card already and asked her to check, otherwise I would have double paid for the hotel fee. 2. I stayed for three nights, however the access card didnt work on the second day. I went to the reception and that receptionist seemed immediately knew it's her colleague who has set the access right for one day only and she rectified the access right for me. 3. The hotel is currently under renovation and would hear some noise during the day time. (Didnt hear any noise when staying there during the long weekend in late May 2023.) 4. I was told by the receptionist during check-in that the breakfast buffet will last till 1200 (actually till 1030 only as told by staff in breakfast room), and had to tell the receptionist the time of going to the breakfast room in advance when checking in.

Very nice hotel in Roermond

The location and the food. One of the staff were very kind to us during breakfast. We had two kids and she gave us a drawing book and coloring pencils. she even offer my son hot chocolate. it was really sweet.

Breakfast could have been better in terms of choice and quality. Also the picture of the room while making the booking shows a nice beautiful modern room with the modern amenities. However we were given a room with old style furniture and bed, not exactly what we had expected. So we were quite disappointed.

Staff on arrival very welcoming. Breakfast was plentiful and very fresh. Very central location. Parking is offered by hotel which is a mega bonus.

The lighting in the room could have been better. The safe was falling apart, but they are busy renovating so small things easily fixed.
