I would like to sincerely thank you for the warm welcome and the outstanding attention to detail during our recent stay at your hotel in Strasbourg. Everything was truly beyond our expectations, and I highly recommend your hotel to anyone visiting the city. A special thanks to Ms. Birtt, who kindly asked about my son’s dietary needs. My son suffers from a severe egg allergy, and Ms. Birtt was incredibly thoughtful and attentive, especially during breakfast, ensuring his safety and comfort at all times. Her professionalism and genuine care truly made a difference. Your hotel stands out not only for its excellent service but also for its thoughtful approach to every small detail that makes tourists feel at home. Lovely short stay in a comfortable prison :)

Brief one night stay on a road trip; my third stay in a prison hotel (two in UK) and it matches those I have stayed in in Oxford and Bodmin. Great comfy room, seating area, comfy bed, good shower. Breakfast was good. Parking was secure at 10 euros per night. Roermond Designer Outlet was 10 minutes by foot, the city itself was also pleasant and attractive.

Very good hotel in a quiet, central location, but understaffed.

High quality hotel, with a very quirky design (an ex-prison). Bedroom and ensuite were good quality and reasonably spacious (Comfort Double Room). Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Private, gated parking onsite (unless full). Good location in the centre of town, but quiet.

A very good quality hotel was ruined by a disastrous breakfast experience. On checking in at 1530 the previous day, we were told we had to book a breakfast time, and all they had left was 0800 or 1000/1030. That would not suit a lot of people and is not really what you would expect from a 5-star hotel. We booked 0800 as 1000 would have been too late for our onward journey. So we were the first people in to breakfast. Staff serve it to you at your table. But they were clearly understaffed, and the staff who were there were completely disorganised (we were the only 2 people in there for the first 20 minutes!). We finally left after 45 minutes, having waited in vain for the food we had ordered. I explained this to Reception at check out, and in fairness, they apologised, and made a financial gesture by way of compensation; and they admitted they were short of staff. It left a very sour taste from what is otherwise a very good hotel.

A great experience in Roermond, more than just a stay.

The unique place, the decoration, the space in the room, big bed, the quiet neighbourhood, the giant bathtub, the perfect service and kindness from all the staff. The included breakfast was awesome!

Beds were quite hard, and we had the suite just above the kitchen so I heard noise (doors, ...) late in the night.

Lovely hotel and great experience to sleep in a prison. GREAT restaurant, a must try!!! Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Location is great and very conveniently located if you want to go shopping at Roermond outlet.

We had a lovely room located at the patio ground floor. Unfortunately in the middle of the night, the staff on night duty decided to have a smoke and rather loud chat in front of our window, waking us up around 4 am. We did mention this to the hotel and they 'solved' it by offering an upgrade for our next visit.
