This traditional Japenese house was very interesting, clean and comfortable. It was fun to sleep on futons. The kitchen/refridgerator were a huge help for breakfast.
Walls are thin so you can hear throughout the house pretty easily as well as some street noise. Be careful if you are tall as the doorways are quite short and I bumped my head several times.

We absolutely loved our stay and we would very happily stay again.
Everything was provided for/ it was a delightful authentic Japanese home experience and everything we needed was available- only a short walk/ride (e-bikes provided) to town and all amenities considered.

車を2台停められる宿をさがしていてこちらの宿にたどり着きました。 実家のような家の中は、掃除がいき届いていて全体的にとても清潔感がありました。 備品の食器や器具、家電などもきれいに保たれていたので、快適でした。 思いつく大抵のものは揃っていましたよ 冬の京都だから寒いかもと心配していましたが、各部屋のエアコンと数台のファンヒーターがあり、脱衣所にも小さなファンヒーターがあったり、メインの部屋にはホットカーペットもあったので、全く寒さを感じることなく快適に過ごすことができました。 また、オーナーが日本人の方なので、メールでのやり取りも言葉の細かいニュアンスなどがスムーズに伝わり、質問への返答もすぐにしていただけたり、融通を効かせていただけたりして、とてもありがたかったです。 次京都に来た時にも利用したいと思いました♪
しいて言うなら、大人数で泊まれる割にはキッチンが狭くて調理や洗い物などがやりにくかった。 それぐらいです。
