    We are quite happy to spend 3 days in this small quite traditional Japanese style hotel. The service is amazing. I love the Japanese bath tub and breakfast in the hotel. A must try. Well worth the price.

    This was a great find, the hotel was a cute boutique property in Kyoto that was centrally located to most of the dining areas. The staff were extremely helpful and responsive , the rooms were clean and well designed.

    This lovely hotel has been flawlessly planned in every detail. It is a blessing to return after a full day in the city, and enter into this stripped back, pure style and beauty. You are met with a great deal of hospitality and the most friendly staff.

    The staff was amazingly helpful and accommodating. I had a few bad experiences: 1. The rooftop was under renovation, so I wasn't able to experience the sauna/fireplace. 2. The evening clothing had a bad odor, as if it had never been washed. 3. Limited facilities, including laundry, etc. The rest was good, especially the complimentary drinks in the fridge.
