The location and the facilities

The location was excellent, with easy access to temples, shopping, and restaurants—everything was within a 15–20 minute walk. We had a family room with plenty of space for the three of us plus our luggage, and the bathroom was very nice. The ice machine in the corridor was a small but much-appreciated detail. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. After long, hot days exploring Kyoto, it was wonderful to come back to a fresh, pleasantly scented hotel. We will definitely return.

Nothing I can think of.

The bath tub and water pressure were amazing! We stayed here for 3 nights. It was overall quite a comfortable stay. Room size was good for 5 of us.

Location. It’s very far from the train station. So you have to take a city bus like 206 207, or otherwise walk to the train station. The taxis usually don’t want to send us to the front door of the hotel as the road was narrow. We ended up dropping off at the main road most of the time. There’s not many food options nearby either.

The room had carpet and with the humidity had a very musty smell (not pleasant). Bathroom smelled as well Big space but no places to hang things up like in the bathroom for towels
