The location was fantastic, near major sights in Kyoto and a bus stop to get elsewhere around town right next to the hotel. The staff was wonderful, friendly, generous and extremely helpful at all times. I would definitely stay here again when returning to Kyoto!

Location to the Otani Hombro and Kiyomizu-Deru temples is very convenient. The surrounding neighborhood is quiet.
The bed in my room was the most uncomfortable! It’s dated with no plushness whatsoever; it was like sleeping directly on top of the wooden slatted support that the “mattress” was laying on. Most restaurants close early.
