Good value for money overall

The Ayodya Palace offers a good balance between price and quality. Breakfast was good, room service worked well, and the beach is clean, wide, and comfortable, which is a big plus. A magnificent 5 nights stay in a beautiful apartment, we loved the pools the exceptional service and the club benefits.

Beautiful beachfront location. Fabulous pools and restaurants. Very Balinese old style property which in places needs a little refresh. Our room was in the Palace and it was more of a huge apartment with a balcony overlooking a private pool for our small block. The room and fit out was absolutely gorgeous and very comfortable. We also had lounge access which was excellent value for money, we enjoyed delicious breakfasts, snacks and drinks all day and a lovely cocktail hour. From the magnificent welcome to our departure every single member of staff made our stay delightful. It was very good value for money.

Fantastic stay at the Adodya palace.

The Adodya palace is a sub-section of the Adodya resort. It has its own reception and slightly better equipped rooms. Where it really stands out is in customer service. As guest of the Adodya palace you get access to the lounge, where you are treated like a king. The staff is amazing. You can go there practically all day for coffee, breakfast is superb (very international, don't expect many Indonesian dishes). You also get a small pool that is dedicated to guests of the Palace, which is very quiet and just a few meters away from the Beach. If you take a grab (sort of uber application in Indonesia), select the side entrance as destination. Otherwise you will be dropped at the main lobby, which is some distance away from the Palace.

You can also use the restaurants in the rest of the resort. I wasn't very impressed with the buffet offering in the other restaurants. The a la carte offering was very good though (even though it was a bit more pricey than other options outside the hotel).

We had the most amazing stay. The pool and facilities were very clean. Always staff around doing tidying to keep it clean. I also can’t speak highly enough of the staff. So kind and caring, always there with a smile on their face, really good with my 2yr old.

Was a wonderful stay for all my family and we will stay there again

Traditional Bali feel, rooms were big and there were so many activities for the kids. My family really enjoyed the stay. My parents also stayed at the same time and we all agreed that we will go again next year if schedules allow.

Bathrooms are a bit dated but they were clean. The design is older but we didn't mind as the rooms were spacious and quiet.

Good hotel has huge potential if it modernises its offering .

If you like big resort hotels you will like it. It’s a huge resort with all that goes with that. Rooms are big. Lovely balconies. Lots to do within the resort: pool table, mini golf. Lovely pools and beach area which was clean. The staff are the best thing about it though. All fabulous with a special mention of Erika who seemed to work everywhere and made our stay extra wonderful. We stayed in the palace liked that it was a little oasis within the resort. 11yr old son loved the big screen movie by the beach and popcorn at night Despite the neg below I would stay here again… make Erika a manager think she could run the place hands down and she really watches what’s going on. Fabulous person!

The size makes it hard to give real 5 star experience. Food was not good at all. Breakfast disappointing. Palace experience offers free food but wasn’t good. Had to send back the meal we had in the beach restaurant. Also offering free alcohol at breakfast and happy hour imo not great… don’t need wine at breakfast and maybe limit free happy hour drinks in palace to 2-3 per person… money saved could go to upgrade food and would attract more foodie travellers than drinkers. Was v diff experience to other smaller 5 star resorts we stayed at. This hotel has huge potential but feels like it’s stuck in what was a 5 star offering in the 80’s or 90’s and attracting crowd looking for that. Buffet food based on volume not quality. Elevator music in the restaurant, guy on guitar singing dreadful songs on beach at night. I would love to stay again seeing it offer traditional atmosphere but modern offering… look to some of the newer hotels North or East Bali for inspiration We booked this at end of 2 week trip in Bali as our 11yr old son wanted a resort. He liked it but again… kids club had nothing for his age he ended up with us or entertaining himself and was a little disappointed. Would have been great to have a “tweenie” fun coordinator so he could have had more fun enjoying the resort facilities.

We were allocated a dirty room we complained bitterly and we were upgraded to an excellent suite which made our stay. The rooms are tired.

nice and comfortable rooms but poor service and property under renovations

the suites we booked were comfortable, clean, cosy and nicely furnished. The beach was clean and just outside the hotel.

the property was under renovation and we only had accès to less than 50% of the hotel (no spa access no gym only one lounge used as restaurant) - the lift was down a whole day when we arrived and we were on the 4th floor. we were extremely disappointed that no one mentioned that when booked and even after our booking to give us an option to choose another hotel. the staff seemed untrained and overwhelmed - so service was poor although we can see that they were doing their best

TRULY AMAZING RESORT

Amazing stay! We stayed in The Ayodya Palace sea view. Beautiful room, with aircon. The staff and service was amazing. The room was cleaned daily, with a turndown service in the afternoon. The breakfast was generous and delicious. The staff went the extra mile to make sure that we had everything we needed. We celebrated our 1 year anniversary, and we got spoiled with a delicious chocolate cake and the most beautiful towel display on our bed. The beach is beautiful and calm. I have to mention the staff again, honestly everyone was so helpful and friendly. The restaurants at the resort were also pretty good, just a bit pricey. The spa is truly amazing, we had such a amazing couples massage experience. The Bali connection where you can shop and dine, is just a 10 minute walk, or you can catch the shuttle every hour.

The restaurants are a bit overpriced.

Love The Ayodya Palace

Staff are excellent. The Palace Lounge is very good. Breakfast, afternoon tea, cocktails and appies in the evening all included. Plus complimentary mini bar and 4 pieces of laundry per day. Pool and beach are fine. Access to the full Ayodya Hotel for restaurants and fitness.

A very easy resort to relax in!

Breakfast was fantastic especially when you could order dishes from the a la carte menu.

It was quite noisy in the evenings as there were always events on. I would have appreciated knowing about this in advance of the trip.
