I’m coming back!

This was so much better than I expected. I didn’t want to leave. We loved the pools, the view of the lagoon from our room, the onsite animals which are well cared for, the activities, the clean beach, bike riding, such amazing onsite restaurants (Japanese restaurant was our fav), very kind and friendly staff.

There is nothing I didn’t like, I wish we stayed longer! The only feedback I have is to have print outs of the daily activities for kids, adults and cultural, left in the bedrooms.

The design of the buildings and rooms, service of the staff was practically perfect. Food was very good and the beach was nice and clean

Perfect location , hotel facilities very good, great staff. Breakfast covering every demografic needs

Overall the room is a 9+ . Only observation that i will make it is regarding the bathroom that it is a litle bit outdated , old faucets and bathtub

The space was thoughtfully set up, well maintained, and had everything we needed for a pleasant and relaxing stay. The staff was very kind, responsive, and helpful throughout—from check-in to check-out—which made the experience smooth and stress-free. The location was also great, with easy access to nearby places and a peaceful atmosphere. We felt at home during our stay and would happily recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free experience. We would definitely love to stay here again in the future!

Ayodya failed to deliver a premium experience

Beach area. Staff very friendly

Booked one of top rooms and ended up overlooking a building site. Very poor choice of international food. International buffet was nearly all Asian food. Food in club lounge was really limited and poor quality.

Great stay.

Lovely landscaping of water and gardens. The breakfast was exceptional and as were all other meals. Staff at every level, including housekeeping staff, were friendly and helpful. The room was a good size with balcony giving a lovely view overlooking the main pond. We loved being able to use the bikes. The beach was clean to swim in and there were plenty of lounges to sit in the shade. Overall great stay.

Ayodya Resort is a great option for families looking for a comfortable stay with lots to do

We had a lovely stay at Ayodya Resort and found it to be a very clean and family friendly place to stay. The resort is beautifully laid out and our kids loved spotting the animals throughout the grounds, which added a fun and relaxed feel to each day. Breakfast was a real highlight, with an amazing variety and something for everyone. There were plenty of activities available for both adults and children, and the kids club was well set up and welcoming, giving parents a chance to relax while the kids had fun. Also the fire show was a 10/10 and we thought it was worth the money.

The only downside for us was the overall price of food within the resort. We ended up eating next door on several occasions, where the meals were around half the price and just as good in quality.

Stunning location and Balinese luxury in Nusa Dua

Stunning Balinese architecture and beautifully manicured gardens with expansive water features. Absolute beachfront with private beach and 4 outdoor pools. Multiple restaurants/ bars but we spent most of our time at the Ayoda Palace Lounge as it was right next to our suite and provides complimentary afternoon tea, evening canapés and cocktails etc. We booked a suite with a generous balcony and ended up getting a free upgrade to the “premium” suite which had a private plunge pool, a wrap around garden with ocean/ sunrise views, a massive bathtub, also with ocean/ beachside views, and even a sauna! The shower was massive as was the whole suite, complete with 4 poster super king size bed, complimentary kids play tent and soft toys, also provided. This suite is boujie!! You will not want to leave! Many options ( and venues) for breakfast, but again we only ate at the Ayoda Palace lounge, which provided a lovely buffet, good mix of local and western foods, as well as à la carte. Service was impeccable. Daily laundry service for up to 4 items complimentary.

My only criticism if any, was that I expected the complimentary mini bar (re-stocked daily) to be a little more comprehensive. Included was 2 x cans of Singaraja beer ( which my husband quite enjoyed and was a nice change from his usual choice of Bintang) 2 x cans of coke, 2 x cans of sprite, 2 x long life milk ( for use with in room coffee machine), 2 x bottles of chocolate malt coffee drink ( not appealing to us) and 2 x teh bottol ( local ice tea) which I’ve before and it’s ok, but we didn’t use it. Some fruit juice, and perhaps some more beer or Smirnoff ice would have been great. “Complimentary mini-bar refills daily” seemed just a tad misleading from my experiences of hotel mini bars in other resorts in Australia, Indonesia and other parts of the world.

Amazing experience

The hotel is very comfortable and beautiful, with the Balinese atmosphere. Lots os different options for breakfast. 3 or 4 swimming pools and free access to the beach.

Lovely staff, lovely room and kept so clean. We stayed in the palace area and the palace breakfast & cocktail hour was great. Resort as a whole was great & very family friendly. Kids club was great

Very relaxing, the perfect place to unwind

This is our 3rd time staying here, and each time is better, will definitely come back and back, having bikes onside is a plus, even kids bikes, this hotel is absolutely family orientated, breakfast nice, very clean, beautiful gardens, love the palace

Not a five-star experience — strong chemical smell and poor service

Swimming pool for kids, and close to the clean beach

The room had a very strong glue/chemical smell from the moment we checked in. When we asked about it, staff said it was just mosquito spray and sprayed more air freshener instead of fixing the problem, which made it worse. The next morning the smell got stronger and three of us had headaches(including 2 kids, less than 8 years old, and they kept saying headache for the next 2days). Later, staff admitted it was actually from renovation upstairs. They changed our room, but we saw another family with 2 young kids moved into our old room the same afternoon. Also, after the Bali theatre dinner show, my card payment showed “successful,” but the staff said they didn’t receive it and called our room at 8 a.m. to ask for payment again. The next morning at the front desk, they first asked me to confirm if my bank showed a failure. I showed them the successful transaction and even the signed slip, yet they still made me swipe my card again — I honestly don’t know why even bother to ask me at the beginning… Even nearby five-star resorts at least show some basic sense of service — here, we felt none at all. Absolutely not a five-star experience.

Stunning hotel with amazing facilities and fabulous staff - wish we had had longer!!!

The breakfast selection was excellent and delicious, staff were always on hand to take any used plates etc. Staff in general was amazing! Every single person i passed in corridors, reception, pool etc said hello and were always ready to help. The service was second to none. Beach was beautifully maintained with clean sand and pretty clear water. Lots of beds available on the beach and by the pool. Rooms were stunning and well stocked with toiletries which the kids loved as they hated the toothpaste i had packed. Bottled water replenished everyday and a fruit plate on arrival. We had attached rooms as are a family of 5 (kids 11, 13, 14yrs). The rooms were accessible from an internal door which allowed us privacy but also felt safe. So many clubs and groups had been organised and pool scooters available for additional rent which my kids loved and i thought was very reasonably priced. We didnt have much time in the hotel so didnt do the activities but i wish we had longer for this - to name but a few - star gazing, walking groups, pool basketball, aqua aerobics. Also loads of games around the pool and beach area like chess, ludo, target throwing, darts, giant jenga and american pool.

Wifi was ok but i struggled to upload instagram stories and it was also not available everywhere in the hotel - for example i would try and book a taxi upon leaving our room and walking to reception but this was not possible and i had to wait until i got to the lobby. Not a huge issue - but a bit of a pain as i could also get no reception on my holafly sim anywhere in Nusa Dua.

Great family holiday, beautiful beach and facilities:)

We travelled with children and there is plenty of kids activities as well as fantastic kids club which my children loved . Also close proximity to the local town was a bonus
