Maja is a very warm, welcoming and engaging host who gave us gifts of milk, freshly baked bread and home made fig jam. The apartment was spotless and exceeded our expectations. We especially loved the balcony overlooking the picturesque bay (please see photographs). We used the comfortable loungers and enjoyed swimming in front of the apartment. We ate at the nearby restaurant, Konoba Vala, which had great food and welcoming staff. It was a very convenient and easy drive in and out of Dubrovnik. We wouldn't hesitate to return to this excellent apartment.

This is one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed in Croatia. The location is fantastic right by the water, beautiful and clean. The apartment itself is truly wonderful, with a lovely terrace, but the highest praise goes to the owner, Maja, who welcomed us with incredible warmth and kindness. She was so thoughtful we arrived on a Sunday for just one night, and since the shops were closed, we wanted to buy some wine but couldn’t find any. Maja kindly offered us a bottle of her own wine. She also made a restaurant reservation for us.
As for the check-out, she allowed us to leave at 11:00 or 11:30, and when she heard that I had to work in the morning, she even said we could check out at 1:00 PM. I’ve never experienced such hospitality from a host before. Everything here deserves an absolutely outstanding rating.
