Lovely stay!

Our hostess was very friendly and helpful. The room is cozy and had all the amenities as advertised - it can get quite chilly in the evening, but we turned the heating on and slept very well. The property is located in a beautiful area near Castellina in Chianti and it's very peaceful, with a great view of the Chianti hills. Breakfast was plentiful with homemade pastries, cakes and jam.

The only drawback was that the property is close to a road that is very busy in the morning and the windows are not double glazed, so we were woken up quite early by the sound of cars and trucks driving by - but it was a minor nuisance and didn't take away from the lovely experience of staying at Residenzia del Sogno.

Quiet and peaceful with only a few miles away of Castellina in Chianti

The owners are lovely. They are very attentive and kind. The property looks outdated but has characteristics of medieval charm. The homemade jam is so good.

The property locates next to the main road. But it is not a problem for us as there are not many vehicles especially during the night.

The location is very remote so for travellers without car it'd be very complicated given the limited local transportation options. The owners offered transport, however with extra charge. There was no washing machine in the villas expect for the owners which they asked for extra charge.

Very charming place with delicious breakfast.

It is a lovely couple who own this rustic and charming rural hotel. The pool area is good and the pool clean and a great plus to cool down after exploring the beautiful towns around.

Maybe the grill area needs a little update - but we didn't mind at all as we didn't use this facility.

Friendly family run hotel with apartment suites, parking and a pool

Delightful, traditional, family-run hotel a few kilometres outside Castellina in Chianti. We had a small apartment on the first floor - comfortable bedroom and another small dining/living room and a tiny kitchenette, that had all we needed for our stay. Easy parking outside the door. Friendly, helpful owners and lovely to eat breakfast outside on the terrace. Good restaurant right next door.

It was perfect for us - we were attending a dinner in a vineyard a few km further up the road and had a car, so the location worked very well. It is, however, a couple of kilometres to Castellina so you do need transport.

Overall our experience was superb. The hosts were exceptional, the rooms were charming and comfortable, and the facilities were great. Breakfast was pretty good, and the hosts clearly put a lot of effort into it.

The location is next to a fairly well-trafficked roadway, so there’s some road noise. While the restaurant next door was very good, it’s the only one within walking distance and it’s not open every night. Be aware of that before having some wine by the pool in the afternoon - you might have to drive to find dinner!

A lovely old couple has welcomed us at 11oclock in the night waiting for us and showed us our room. Breakfast is fantastic with all homemade products! Next time we will book a bit in advance so we can get one of the fantastic rooms and apartments that they have in the property.

Great Stay

We enjoyed a 3 night stay here on our road trip. The hosts are very friendly & helpful giving us lots of information and leaflets as to where to visit, where to eat even offering to book a restaurant for us if needed. The room was comfortable and the air conditioning very welcome. A lovely Pool and garden area to relax in. Breakfast was homemade with cakes, pastries and jams as well as cereal, fresh fruit and meats and cheeses. All delicious. A great location within easy reach of Castellina by car and within easy reach of Siena, San Gimignano and the Chianti Towns. A really enjoyable stay in a lovely property.

Großartige Gastgeber die sehr liebevoll Ihre B&B pflegen. Das kleine Dorf um die Ecke ist super schön und auch Tagesausflüge sind perfekt zu realisieren.

Teilweise ein bisschen einfach und die ein oder andere Investition wäre langsam an der Zeit - nichtsdestotrotz super schön und sehr authentisch!
