Most people go to Panzano for having a meal at Dario Cecchini's maccelleria, and if one drinks wine with the meal then it is really convenient to be able to stay 5 minutes walk up the road! Staying here gives us a feel of a local village and the breakfast is good too.
It was a lovely B&B place. There is nothing we did not like. We managed with signing, google translate and very little Italian but everyone was very friendly and helpful. It's our problem that we cannot speak Italian afterall.

The staff were wonderfully friendly and welcoming and we were in good proximity to where we wanted to be. The room we stayed in was a good size.
The room didn't have aircon and the fan supplied wasn't sufficient to cool the room or us down, which made for an uncomfortably sweaty sleep. The pictures show rooms with wood beams and old world charm. But we stayed in a modern building not shown on the pictures on booking.com. I specifically booked Rosso Del Chianti for its quaint traditional rooms. Although well decorated, it wasn't what I was after and if I'd known I would have booked elsewhere.
