Villa il Tinaio

Beautiful, peaceful location. Pool was lovely and clean. The staff were lovely and breakfast was delicious. They even made us scrambled eggs and coffee each morning! The shared kitchen worked well, and plenty of space in the fridge. Enough space for parking.

The shower was freezing the entire time - it never warmed up. We even messaged the host and no reply. The sink water was warm so we filled up bottles with warm water so we could wash pleasantly…with bottles. Not what you expect for the price. We were also given a room on arrival. One day/ night later, we were told we were given the wrong room and forced to pack up and move upstairs to a different room immediately. This was very inconvenient considering we had fully unpacked and had to then move to a different floor. The time pressure to move was also unpleasant considering we were about to head out for the evening.

We loved everything. Guests should be aware though that restaurants for dinner and lunch require a small hike or drive

La struttura è molto bella, curata, in una posizione comodissima per visitare il Chianti e con una piscina stupenda. La colazione è varia ma non ho avuto modo di provare tutti i prodotti offerti, tuttavia avevano una bella faccia. Una nota positiva è che è a disposizione degli ospiti la cucina con frigorifero e tutti gli strumenti per cucinare, macchina del thè e del caffè: così, se non si vuole andare a cena fuori tutte le sere e rimanere un po' in relax ci si può cucinare qualcosa da sé.

Nota negativa: la camera nella quale abbiamo soggiornato non era camera con vista giardino come avevamo capito che fosse ed era molto piccola, il che non sarebbe stato un problema se non avesse avuto la doccia fuori dal bagno: precisamente di fronte al letto. Essendo una coppia questo non ci è pesato molto, ma per chi viaggia con amici o famiglia potrebbe essere un problema. SOLO UNA CAMERA DA LETTO HA LA DOCCIA di fronte al letto, le altre in cui abbiamo sbirciato mentre le pulivano avevano doccia in bagno.
