We had a lovely stay at Villa Il Tinaio. The service was very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was excellent, with a nice selection and good-quality products.
The pool area was beautiful and very relaxing, and we especially enjoyed the peaceful and quiet surroundings. The location has a wonderful atmosphere, surrounded by beautiful Tuscan scenery.
There were, however, a few things that could be improved. During our stay, the room was not cleaned and the towels were not changed. We also found that there was not enough toilet paper provided, and it was not replenished during our stay.
Overall, we enjoyed our time at Villa Il Tinaio, especially because of the beautiful surroundings, peaceful atmosphere, excellent breakfast and friendly service. With a little more attention to housekeeping and room service, the experience could be even better.

Breakfast was plentiful. Scrambled eggs were delicious. The walk uphill to get into town, but really not that big of a deal. It took about 10 minutes. 15 at most. If you’re able bodied, it’s def doable, and easy walk to town. Actually, lovely location! Villa is very private. Pool is lovely. Girls were also lovely!

Kleine, familiäre Unterkunft mit tollem Pool und nur 6 Zimmern. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und bei Beanstandungen hilfsbereit. Der Pool hat eine tolle Größe und ist als Infinity-Becken gebaut. Dort zu liegen und beim Baden die Toskana Landschaft zu genießen, ist Erholung pur. Wichtig: Guten Mückenschutz einpacken!
Die Unterkunft liegt etwas außerhalb von Panzano. Die Anfahrt erfolgt über einen längeren, kurvig-steilen, unbefestigten Schotter-Weg. Mit einem SUV ist es aber kein Problem.
Parkplätze sind in ausreichender Menge vorhanden.
Die Lage ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt, um Tagestouren in verschiedene Bereiche der Toskana zu unternehmen.
Es handelt sich nicht um ein klassisches Hotel. Es gibt z. B. keine Rezeption, bei Ankunft ruft man eine Nummer an und es kommt jemand mit dem Zimmerschlüssel. Es gibt einen Gemeinschaftsraum mit Küche, wo das typisch italienische Frühstück zubereitet wird. Die Tische sind zu Tafeln zusammengerückt, wo alle Gäste gemeinsam sitzen.
Die Zimmer direkt neben dem Gemeinschaftsraum sind hellhörig. Wir wollten in ein anderes, ruhigeres Zimmer umziehen, es gab aber leider keine freie Kapazität.

Amazing resort. Stunning location and very peaceful and relaxing. Had the pool to ourselves most of the time. The staff were so helpful and friendly.
The only downside I guess is that the town of Panzano is a short walk away up quite a steep road. Takes about 10 minutes but is a bit of a workout!
