We would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our room. Our stay included myself, my husband and 4 children ages 5-17. The room was very spacious and comfortable for all of us. We could have easily brought our Newfoundland dog along with us had we known we had so much space. The pool was clean and the staff was friendly.

The coffee in the lobby during evening hours was cold and not kept stocked. It was NYE which may account for that. The dishes in our room could use some refreshing but we didn’t use much.

Distasteful

Nothing parking was horrible and I payed to park on the street. The room was not made up completely bed looked as if it had been slept in there was no towels I called reception desk to only get towels cause there staff was gone for the day at 2:00pm when I arrived there was staff still cleaning rooms on my floor!

this is no fault of the facility, but there was a dog next door that barked for 3 hours. being a dog lover, it broke my heart to hear him bark and cry for so long. when the owners returned, someone from another room knocked on their door and had words with them. it was a bit upsetting, I couldn't get to sleep after that encounter.

We were upgraded to a suite, which we really appreciated. It was nice having a separate living room and kitchen. We also enjoyed the breakfast, particularly the muesli and oatmeal.

I didn’t like that we had to ask to have our room cleaned. For $350 a night, I expect daily cleaning. We had a lot of used food containers and dishes that were mounting up. Even when the cleaner came, he didn’t wash the dishes. It was also disappointing that we weren’t able to use the pool. It seems as if the only way to get to the pool was through the lobby. The hotel didn’t provide toweling robes and we didn’t feel comfortable walking through the lobby with a towel wrapped around us. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.

The staff was great and welcoming.

The facility from the lobby to the room was not good. The lobby couch was so stained with marks it was not good. The room, bed cover had stain, the bed was bad. Breakfast was OK, but could be better.

Balance of plus and minus

Quiet. Spacious, comfortable, room and bed. AC and ceiling fan worked well during extra warm, humid days. Helpful, pleasant staff. Easy walk to the Strip District for meals and to downtown along a riverside walkway. Good lighting, plenty of plugs.

Walk-in shower with no sliding door. The 1’x2’ non-ceramic tiles had a lengthwise grain which made them slippery, especially so because the shower head was not adjustable and the flow was weak, not rinsing away the soap on the tiles very well. The corner of the bed was about 8” from the dresser (too heavy to move) so it was a squeeze to get to one side of the bed. Breakfast was pretty monotonous over our week stay. There was little change in what was available. Housekeeping was promised after three days but no one showed up during our seven.

We arrived early and wanted to park our car and explore. The employee at the front desk was so friendly, she let us know where to park and when our room was ready they would text me. PERFECT !

Fine, But Not A Great Value For The Money

The room was large, the morning breakfast was very good, the overall decor in the lobby was very nice.

I think it is overpriced. It is not in the downtown core i.e. where the business area is. It was a little desolate there at night. There really is little to no shopping there. It is near the Strip District, but not the business district.

We’re booking again and again!

CLEAN, helpful staff! Huge highlight was that the pool is a 3ft to 4ft pool so my 4 & 5 yr olds were able to comfortably roam the entire pool as they’re not great swimmers yet. Breakfast had something for everyone and the Outdoor space was also PERFECT!

Great Pittsburgh home base

Staying in the strip district is pretty great if you're visiting Pittsburgh - you're near some pretty great food and coffee. Staying in a suite in the strip district is even better because you have the little kitchenette, meaning you can enjoy stuff from the local specialty markets (Penn Mac, etc) and store it easily without worrying about it going bad. The hotel is clean, convenient, and comfy and the staff are GREAT. Extremely helpful and accommodating when I had an issue with my booking, and super friendly throughout. Facilities are great, the gym is large and well-stocked, and the lobby is an excellent spot to relax. I enjoyed using the pool, however I will say that the pool water kind of reeks. Definitely more there for kids or people who don't mind being stinky.

The only thing I didn’t like was the difficulty in figuring out how to get to the front of the hotel from the parking garage, and when I found it I had to go up two flights of stairs. Other than that a 5 star stay!

The location of the hotel was perfect. You could walk to different areas near the hotel if you wanted to or drive to different local spots that weren’t far either. The hotel was amazing and will recommend it to everyone.

I didn't like that I had a room next to dogs. They barked a lot. Everyone should know this hotel allows dogs to stay in any room. There are no pet designated rooms. Dogs could have been sleeping on the couches, beds or chairs in any room. Potential for tucks, fleas, dog dander. We won't be staying at this hotel ever again.

I love that they have lotion in a pump bottle attached to the wall in the vanity area, then in the large shower they have shampoo, Conditioner, and body wash in pump.containers attached to the wall. They all smell really clean and fresh! Hypoallergenic Staff is very friendly

I was under impression parking was included but it wasn't, there is a 7 dollar parking tax a night and parking was 20 a night May be better off just paying the attendant to park in the lot next to the hotel. It would be cheaper.

They charge you for parking. We checked in around 4:00 our key cards didn’t work. Representative came up and opened our room and it was occupied by another guest. The lobby and the hallways were hot as a oven. When asked if they could turn the heat down they said no. The poor cleaning staff were sweating from head to toe. Only one elevator worked.

The Happy Gathering hour on Wednesday night worked out perfectly -- as we had just driven a long way and so it was relaxing to have the Soup and Salad -- along with beer and wine.
