Wyndham Fort Smith City Center

I like that the property is down town. Very easy to get to.

The room smelt really bad of mildew for our whole 4 night stay. The bathroom did not have an exhaust fan, so that’s probably the reason. The first night was okay, the second night our neighbor had a dog that barked all night long. The third night kids banged on the wall for hours. The fourth night our neighbors argued very loudly from 3am to 7am. They woke my 4 year old up and woke me up before having to drive 7 hours. I had to ask the receptionist to call security to have them calm down.

Convenient, good price, room was large, Cynthia at the front desk was very friendly and helpful.

The rooms are very nice, staff is great and the hotel is in overall very good condition. Amenities are awesome.

The breakfast is not good for a full service hotel.

The Breakfast was very lack luster for a 4 star full service hotel.

Convenient. Love the areas you can sit with family in the lobby. Nice bar, breakfast area. Walking distance to restaurants and bars.

The room was comfortable. The staff was very friendly. I enjoyed the menu style breakfast. It tasted great!

This property is outdated and was eerily empty. There were very little staff and no breakfast because they had almost no guests. I’ve never been in a place so empty. I would not stay there again.

Close parking. Our room was close to the elevators. Fun to see all the people in the lobby at the restaurant and bar. Friendly staff. Being able to walk from the hotel to the convention center was very handy.

I was assuming the rooms had refrigerators as most do these days. But there wasn’t one. I was able to keep my meds and food cold with ice.

Breakfast was fine.

The room was dirty. The bathroom was mold and mildew everywhere. Disgusting. The room was no smoking but smelled of smoke and mildew.

One thing didn’t like was the couldn’t check in till 4 especially when ur traveling and have been up most night and want to get to bed. Also wish the tv had a guide so could tell what’s on the channels

It was in a good location downtown and was very walkable to sights and restaurants. It was clean. The room was large and had a big walk-in shower. Lots of outlets for chargers. There was a restaurant and bar at the hotel.

There was no refrigerator or microwave in the room.

Great location to tourist sights. Room was comfortable and wheelchair accessible.

The pool was freezing and only two of our 5 breakfasts were complimentary.

Room Service -- had to ask for towels 2 times the day we arrived. Day 2 - bed was not made; the pillows were arranged correctly and the comfort pulled up while the bed sheet was scrambled and I had to make the bed before we got in it. Elevators - have not worked in 2 years Carpet was filthy. Time for new carpeting. the paint in the bathroom is coming of the walls, The room is very MUSTY AND has the awful smell of mold. Bar staff - not friendly, and very slow.

Very comfortable bed. Great breakfast, not included unless you have it as a perk. Nice indoor pool.

When we got to the property no one was at the front desk and this wonderful man, I believe his name was Philip kept telling us the lady will be right back should be right back and he was so sorry that we had to wait and he kept watching for her to make sure that she would come around the corner soon and she just didn’t. I think we waited for about almost 10 minutes and there was a line forming and when she did show up, she didn’t even speed up as she noticed the line nor did she apologize to anyone once we got to our room it was kind of stuffy because the air was turned off, which is fine so we turned the air on and it took forever to cool down to a more comfortable temperature. We also know some stains on the floor and in one of the beds you could just barely smell vomit while you laid there we didn’t ask to change rooms or anything was already late. We were tired and didn’t wanna deal with it considering the way we already had to check in. The next morning, we went downstairs for breakfast and no one was at the hostess stand to see us, but we stood there and waited. I’m not quite sure how long we waited. It was quite a while until a customer came up to us and let us know that it took over 40 minutes for them to receive their own food so we decided at that moment that we should leave And that’s when the hostess finally came to the front of the customer that told us it took over 40 minutes for their food to arrive. Let him know that they were leaving and his response was that’s fine by me. We were gonna stay until it was time to check out, but we decided with that type of treatment and how no one seemed to care about their customers. We decide to check out immediately.

It was clean. The staff was professional. The beds were phenomenal.

I like the location because it next door to the venue. The staff were nice. The evening staff were great , giving us towels.

We booked a room with two double beds. When entering the room . One of the beds was unmade . The mirrors and tv had not been cleaned. There was one clean towel . Some dirty towels were on the floor. We were exhausted from our drive. So , we said nothing . The next night we ask the front desk for towels. They were very nice. The second morning. We asked for the beds to be changed, and regular cleaning and trash taken out. This was around 8:30am. We returned around 1:30pm . Nothing had been done. My husband sat the trash and dirty towels outside our door. I was resting. Housekeeping emptied the trash and took the towels. Left NO towels. That night we returned still no towels !

The staff was great, and helpful, attentive to our needs. The price was great. The hotel restaurant was really good and affordable for our family of 5. They had snacks and drinks to purchase in the lobby. The beds were very comfortable. The inside pool was big and spacious. The showers were good and hot. Room was clean.

We didn’t have a microwave or fridge. The hotel as a whole was very humid and warm as we went in July, but our room was great once we got in and turned the air conditioning on.

Location is great and the staff was great.

Breakfast was really only acceptable. Waffles were tough and bacon was so so. There was only one older lady taking care of the restaurant and she needed a couple of more people. I got coffee and never could get a refill . Bathroom was outdated and the poor chair at the desk area was so worn it was embarrassing. I expected more from the Wyndham!!!

Oddly enough we only saw one other couple staying at this hotel! No mini refrigerator in our room but they loaned us one at no charge as the hotel was empty of guests. We appreciated that gesture very much.

We had a coupon for breakfast but it was awful. Scrambled eggs were strange tasting, potatoes and bacon the same. We only ate the toast.
