The breakfast started to late and therefore My family did not have a chance to try it

EVERYTHING, I was in 3 rooms over the weekend and my compensation was 3 waters and a small can of potato chips, I reserved a room with additional living space and when I got to the room the Thermostat was broken. The hotel moved me to a smaller room that was a handicap room. The cable was not working and the WIFI was horrible in the room. They moved me again and and it was fine but still NOT the room a reserved with the additional space. The hotel ICE machines did not work in the whole hotel and the signs just said go to the first floor ice machine that ALSO did not work. Lastly, when I got to the hotel the first sign stated the pool was closed for renovation. I did try to discuss this with the manager and he told me because this was book through Booking. com there was no monetary reimbursement from his end. I would have gone top a different hotel the 2nd day if they would have refund me or just not charge me for the 2nd day. POOR experience and hard to contact you about this

Liked that Cracker Barrel was close by. Front desk staff were very attentive and helpful. In fact, they were the best thing about my stay! Friendly. Location was fine, except for the presence of law enforcement nearby, addressing a shooting fatality suspect staying at another hotel. Scary.

1st room had cigarette smoke, so I had to ask for a different room. Second room had a dirty bathtub and AC made an ear piercing squeal off and on during operation. I'm short and had to jump up to get onto high king bed. Yikes! No pastry option for breakfast. Swat Teams swarmed nearby hotel with several officers and vehicles; scary as shots fired by suspect and police.

Allen was great! We had an issue with the room we were given and he quickly switched us to another room. All front desk staff was great with providing ice for my cooler when the ice machine was broken.

Breakfast selection was limited while there but not sure if due to weekend or availability.

Not what I’ ve expected from HIE in past.

Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast always good at HIE.

They didn’t say anything about pool and workout room not available until after I booked and paid for room. Also the are doing major renovations on hotel areas. Also shower had minimal hot water, I told front desk, one side of bed sheets had stains .

Staff was very friendly and helpful.Carla, the GM was exceptional. The breakfast was very good. Enjoyed our stay. Convenient location off the Interstate. Check-in and check out went smoothly.

Hard time getting into parking lot because of too much snow. But Carla took care of that immediately. Tough to fight Mother Nature.

Room itself... Main light going into room not working. Had someone else's stuff in refrigerator, bathroom toilet seat dirty (cleaned myself), inside the toilet needed cleaned as well. Outside room construction wires not taped down by 2nd floor elevators (tripping hazard). 2nd floor maintenance door held open with a buck . Main entrance floor had multiple boxes of supplies setting on the one side of walk way to elevator

Cleanliness of room unsatisfactory. Here is the email I sent to their location... I stayed at your Holiday Inn Express located at 204 Raydo Cir, Springfield, OH 45505 on 9/4 with checkout on 9/5 room #211....upon arrival, the comforter had a stain on it which I just tossed to the side since I don't use it anyway, but made me question the cleanliness of the room. However, the shower had tons of black hair (zoom in on the picture, you'll see it) which is not acceptable... downright gross. I did reserve the room from a third party - booking.com and they will also be receiving the same feedback.

The fire alarms went off at 330 am had to evacuate, returned to room and they go off 2 more times . Impossible to get kids back to sleep after that . Indoor pool was not available due to hotel switching from chlorine to saltwater system and no mention of this when I booked the stay . Very disappointed bc kids couldn't swim
