The decor was excellent, felt rich and elegant. Room size was good. Good shower pressure and also the walk-in shower was nice. All the staff were great, they always greeted us and asked if there was anything they could do to help make our stay more enjoyable.
The bed was much too hard for our liking. There weren't any luggage carts available upon our departure. The incidentals fee ($50 per day) was quite a surprise to us, because it was not explained in any correspondence or during our booking of the room, or during check-in or check-out, which seemed somewhat sneaky and underhanded. That was indeed our first experience with a "incidentals fee". In the past several years, we have never been assessed any incidental fees of any kind during hotel stays. This is akin to loaning the property my money for a five day period, interest free and without my permission. For me, it detracts from the beauty and elegance of the property.
