Overall I was completely satisfied with this hotel. The room was very clean, had a great view of the ocean, and the bed was very comfortable. Also, the amenities were great.

This place is in the very heart of downtown Oceanside. It is one block from the beach. Almost every window can see something if you like trains, you would love this place the trains drive right by and my son who's on the autism spectrum loves the sound of the horn, the ocean is within view as is the pier. Even at night this place was so safe.

Some people may not like hearing the train, but it doesn't run in the middle of the night.

Location of room is everything

Had a corner room with two amazing balconies.

The TV placement in the room was awkward, and I prefer a real bathroom door. The sink and shower were bath backing up.

Favorite place to stay in Oceanside so far!

I like the location, the comfort, the overall aesthetic. Loved the little market for anything we forgot or need.

The only thing is paying for parking but other than, great!

Other than the sheet and ice issue it was a great day. Staff was excellent. They were super nice.

Our bottom sheet was a flat sheet and it kept sliding off when we were sleeping and the ice machine was not working on our floor so we had to go to another floor

Really situated a block from beach and promenade! It was excellent value$$ and a great breakfast served daily in lobby. Smart, cool and chic! Staff helpful, especially Gina ( shout out) and plenty if room for 3!!! Outdoor Bar on second floor opens st 6 with Latino music! Pool on 6th floor gives panoramic view! All in.. fabulous!

No bottled water in room but special fill up if you have a personal water bottle! I didn’t !!!!

There are NO OCEAN VIEW rooms at this hotel. We booked an Ocean View room on Booking.com and got a room with a parking lot view. Paid more for a good room and got to look at pavement as our view. Definitely NOT worth the value.

Really nothing terrible experience!

We went for a 2 day mini vacation and the hotel put us in a handicap room! Shower drains in the middle of the bathroom! Also had an ocean view with a balcony and no chairs on the balcony! The room was dirty! Talked to staff about changing rooms and manager would not talk to us front desk said they were booked! Terrible customer service from the top down! 1 star hotel at best ! $800 dollars for 2 nights worst hotel experience we ever had! To the manager thanks for not talking to us about our room issues!! Thumbs up I work hard for my money and this was a very bad experience!! Hope you don’t do this to anyone else!!

Very friendly nice hotel if you dont mind noise.

Very friendly hotel near beach and in town. Lots of nice paces for meals in walking distance. Breakfeast was included which was a bonus.

I found the hotel very loud. It was very full but the amount of door slamming and yelling partially due to loud music was somewhat difficult for me. Also be aware there is a trainstation right next to the hotel with trains tooting etc

Nice, spacious rooms and also clean. Loved the location. Was my first time here, but we are definitely coming back. The price was great! Much food near by and beach right when you walk out just walk about a minute. The rooftop pool is cool although we didn’t get the time to swim. 10/10!

I saw reviews about the train because it’s close, but honestly I didn’t hear it and it didn’t bug us at all. There isn’t anything I didn’t like about the property.

An awesome family vacation

Check in was great, ladies were friendly and helped out. Lobby was perfectly clean and gave a relaxing mood. The room was spacious and clean. A little walk to the beach but not bad. Restraurants super close within a 2 minute walk.

It was a good time!

It was a wonderful location! I was very happy to how close it is to the beach and all the restaurants.

The key cards were kinda pointless when it came to getting to places like the rooftop bar, pool and fitness center. It said “use card key to enter” but the doors were always unlocked regardless. Seemed like anyone could just come use the pool and jacuzzi. As well as come into the hotel and walk on any floor.

Not beachfront, not very happy

Not very happy.

The hotel was presented as beachfront. It wasn't. It was a full block from the beach, with a large hotel of the same height between our hotel and the beach. Beyond that, the breakfast was barely edible and the elevators were unusually slow. Oh, it was right by the train tracks. Not really happy... .

Walking distance to the beach. Beautiful view from the rooftop pool and jacuzzi. Plenty of pool towels.

Bathroom had tub with peeling paint, stained tub bottom. Had to constantly put out bags of our trash b/c housekeeping was hit/miss. Parking st $40/day was not mentioned in the hotel info. That’s another $240/6 days. If the rate says $ x amount per day, that should not change from one day to the next. Absolutely terrible WiFi connection and had work that HAD to be done.

Close to the beach

The room was noisy, the train noise didn’t let us sleep well. The room ventilation was not good. The breakfast time was from 6:30 till 9 am. We would have preferred to have it till 10.

The room was clean and well equipped, the beds were comfortable and clean. The room layout was done well with a glass enclosure for a privacy space

The train outside was kinda loud, I asked for a non train room but there were none available. We used ear plugs and they worked OK. I would reserve a room more in advance next time. They should provide ear plugs

the location of the hotel

the service wasn't good we ask the front desk to send someone to clean the room and it took more than 6 hours, also we ask for some towels because we didn't have any because the room haven't been clean in 3 days
