It was amazing, definitely will stay again. I loved Katie at counter she was such a charming person and so sweet.

The room felt a bit hot, I feel it was my fault about that but to be honest everything was perfect.

Don’t book here, it is not a nice resort in any sense of the word.

The location

My room was 1/4 mile from the elevator. The room’s “phone from 1975” did not function properly. When you attempt to select a service, the display was backwards. There was no option to contact any other option but guest services. The “mini fridge” was not working properly as it did not keep my chilled beverages chill. When I called guest services, they sent a technician who was super kind and they told me it was “functioning properly”. He used a temperature device and said “cold” and I immediately noted that this hotel doesn’t not give “two sh*ts”. Next, at the end of the evening, I try to use the streaming device and the remote is not working. I called front desk again from the backwards phone and they sent up the nice maintenance worker and he said “not working” and he gave me a new remote. I called guest species to order a French press for 8:00 am and I was told. “Oh we don’t offer day before orders…This place-no just no. I left after that. I am not staying in a sub par hotel.

The staff at the front desk are not welcoming and friendly; shampoo and conditioner are not in good quality; the location is far away from everywhere; oceanside beach is not comparable with La Jolla or Coronado beach.

Nice, but not the best

Beautiful view, location was really nice, you could park your vehicle and walk to wherever you needed.

Beds and bedding were not comfortable. Sheets were stiff and noisy. Valet service was slow and we ended up having to go search for our luggage. Valet also told us our vehicle wouldn't fit in their parking garage. When we drove by, we noticed the height restriction at 8'2". We absolutely would've fit but ended up already paying for outdoor parking. Seems like valet should know the height restriction and not assume.

Our room was just perfect! The bed was comfortable, the closet and cabinet space was adequate for the amount of clothes we bought. The food in the dining facilities was innovative and delicious. Our room was in a very quiet area in the hotel, which, by the way, was exceptionally clean. The maid service was exemplary and always done early in the morning, so we did not have to waste time waiting to return to our room after a day out as we did recently in another hotel you book rooms for in Toronto, whose name starts with a "B,"

We truly enjoy this resort—it’s one of our favorite local escapes. We dine here often and always recommend the hotel and restaurants to friends and family. The interior design is stunning, and the moment you walk in, the scent and atmosphere immediately transport you into vacation mode. Its also great that guests have access to the Mission Pacific pool, nice bonus.

It would be great to see the hotel offer more consideration for local guests—perhaps through waived resort fees or special rates—so we’re not subject to the same tourist upcharges. A thoughtful locals’ program or discount could go a long way in building community loyalty.

Location, gym, bed, water bottles that were surveneirs and refillable, valet personal and bells person

The price was ridiculous, because everything cost once you were there and there was nothing to do in the resort. They lied about parking to get you to do valet. You can park in the street daily for $5 literally instead of $51 daily. The food was ridiculously expensive, and the bar on the 3 red floor closed early everyday, so we could never play pool. No stores in the resort. The sauna was not open to public. It was a baby pool that only went to 4ft, and the hot tub was super small and always over crowded. It was apart of the spa that was apart of a huge cost.

The hotel is a nice location. We enjoyed the ocean view from our balcony.

The parking situation at this hotel was irritating by the last day. Guests are charged for daily parking, but it was very clear that the Valets expect tips for “fetching cars” and “returning cars”. We tipped every time, which got expensive and still found it rude on more than one occasion that we waited twice as long as guests in luxurious cars. I will not return because of the parking situation and probably wouldn’t recommend it.

Amazing just needs better beds

Absolutely wonderful! The whole resort was really high end. The pool the facility fireplace and fire pits all over! The beach chairs and umbrella set up included! They only downside was this was a top notch resort and the kind bed was not supportive. Also the fold out mattress in sofa was awful my daughter woke up in pain. So she ended up just sleeping on it like a couch which was more comfortable. They really need to take some of the money and get better mattresses.

The location was prime! We checked in and were able to walk to anything we wanted to do. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The room was larger than we expected and the staff were very responsive.

Too many children in the spa and the pool! Should have mentioned that it was mostly families. I didn’t like that there was no place to get a juice or medicine or snack after hours inside the hotel! Tv didn’t work phone rang at all hours of night. Coffe maker was ridiculously inconvenient to use. Carpet smelled of mildew every where

Love love love the interior design. It was SO beautifully decorated! Staff was lovely. Jordan at reception was great. The young man who checked us in was good as well.

It was not the hotels fault. I have been electronically harassed for 1.5 years - worldwide. And a couple of ladies checked into room 41 right after we checked in - near to midnight. And sure enough, I woke up feeling a target of a radio frequency which I have a gadget to measure.

Gorgeous location and facility

Loved the room and our view of the ocean. The linens and pillows were very comfortable. We hosted a party in the guest lounge and the service was 10/10. Interior spaces were all clean and tastefully decorated.

Sunday brunch was SO expensive and not that great. Food quality was a 5 or 6. The service was great but I couldn't believe we were charged $48 per person for the 'buffet'. The room was noisy. I enjoyed the fact that you could hear the waves crashing, but we could also hear everything else going on, on the street. This is not something the hotel can fully control, it was just difficult to sleep. The mattresses need to be turned/flipped, they slope to the edge.

It was really clean and sophisticated, and located in front of the beach. I was able to admire the gorgeous ocean and the sunset and sunrise were a beautiful experience.

There was a lot of noise that came in from the street; loud cars driving up and down the street; a free concert at the amphitheater across the street; a band playing at a restaurant across the street. We enjoyed the band, cuz it was our kind of music but our teenagers weren’t impressed!

We loved the view from our room and the rest we were seeking by our stay at the hotel. The room was quiet and clean. One of the reasons for our choice of the room was the high back chair. It was comfortable and provided for our needs.

There were a couple things that would be good to change. We really desired to have a microwave in our room. Upon check-in we were not told there was a microwave on the second floor that we could use, but even with that one available, we were on the third floor and had to carry our food down the hall to another floor, very inconvenient. Second, when we got to our room, there wasn't any information about the surrounding attractions, shopping or even the room service menu. We felt it presumptuous that everyone would have a QR reader on their phone to find out information about the hotel and other items. We do not use a QR app on our phone and felt lost when we got to our room.
