Staff was very nice. I enjoyed a few days except the parking outside. You can park nowhere without getting a ticket. Val

It was close to everything and when you think you’re paying for city view, which is extra, don’t do it you don’t heard nothing but noise traffic fire trucks. It’s not worth the extra money to see the Streetz and her noise.

The parking is outrageous if you park on the street you gotta pay or you getting a ticket if you pay for ballet $75 a night 74 to be exact it’s horrible and the rooms are too small for the price

There was no separation from the bathroom space to sleeping space so when I was in the bathroom at night, the lights would bother my wife and kid. That was really inconvenient. Also wish it had a better parking situation. My wife also informed me that I slept through a loud disturbance from the police next room over.

It was a really good experience and I would like to stay here again!

Once we arrived at the property we were greeted and since it was my boyfriend’s birthday that we were celebrating they gave us some vouchers for the restaurant in the hotel. Once at the room it was clean and a nice view. The bed was comfortable for the most part. When it was time to check out it was a very fast and simple check out.

The only complaint would be the bed was pretty creaky. Every time we would turn, get on or get off it would be really loud.

Although I wish the room was bigger, it was in a prime location.

I enjoyed the location it was close to so much. It was walking distance to most of the restaurants that I wanted to visit. The bed was comfortable.

I wish the room was a little bigger.It was very compact. The sheets did have stains that looked like they just couldn't come out. They did change them for us.

Amazing Stay!

Staff accommodation was amazing. Rooms and facilities were clean and well kept. Great location right in the middle of downtown Chicago. Anytime we needed help, from linens to directions the staff were quick to help. We were greeted with smiles everytime.

Only one elevator worked for most of our stay, which was understandable since it was a holiday weekend. Our room faced an ally which wasn't very pleasant but we were put on a higher floor so we still got a nice view of the city.

Location was good, and the room was overall clean.

The lobby is shared with the Beatrix restaurant which was often crowded, so the lobby was very loud. There was only one functioning elevator, only at the end of our stay they repaired the other one.

Great room and staff but constant preauthorised payment mechanism is really annoying and puts me off using Aloft again.

The room was great. Clean, comfortable, well equipped and with a great view. The staff were really helpful, especially one young man. The Beatrix restaurant attached was really good.

2 big gripes. 1) Only one elevator working, sure more were available in the Hyatt but that wasn’t convenient with luggage. 2) my card was preauthorised for $334.60 on arrival and then periodically an additional $75. I have a US account I use for trips which doesn’t hold a lot of money. So the transactions were often declined. The final invoice was for $309.95. However, I still have a preauthorised amount of $409.60 on my card. This means $100 I can’t access or earn interest on. This is really annoying and seems totally unnecessary. As the original preauthorised amount was slightly more than the final amount why keep requesting $75 and when will the amount be corrected?
