Front desk... Needs retraining

It was always clean and the house keeping was on top of everything.

Some of the clerk staff didn't know exactly what they were doing. There was a mishap with one of the other rooms that was booked. Checking out was concerning the fact that somehow my room was already checked out? The front desk didn't know who checked me out? But I was checked out earlier than when I was trying to check out. Probably how the mishap happened with the other room that was booked. No one seemed to know how to keep track of what was happening. The original room was booked in advance and reassured that we as guests had to do anything, besides check in. It was a big ordeal and an embarrassment. Please be acknowledged, or seek help from the manager. I really enjoyed the stay in the rooms and having a warm and clean breakfast in the morning, but the front desk operation is crazy to me.

Below my expectation for a Hyatt place

not much but if I have to name a few then it'd be 1, size of the room, and 2, omelet stand at the complementary breakfast

we stayed in SoCal Hyatt Place Pasadena for 4 nights right before staying at Hyatt House Santa Clara. Hyatt House Santa Clara was noticeably lacking in a few areas; 1, for the 2 night stay no cleaning or towel change was offered. When I asked the front deck I was told that the cleaning crew had left so no cleaning could be done and I had to get towels from the front desk myself since there was only one staff available (which is fine but not ideal), 2, room is spacious but old and needs updates. There's a strong air refreshener smell in the room which is not pleasant.

Very friendly staff and nice hotel. We found the room and bed very comfortable.

It’s nice that it has a pool but it wasn’t a very attractive place to sit. The breakfast had a decent range but could have been tastier and fresher.

overall is pretty Ok. What we like is the location.

Breakfast is quite basic, but they do provide organic tea bags and reasonably decent coffee.

The family room includes a sofa bed; however, we found bits and pieces of snacks hidden in the folded bedsheet cover—presumably left behind by previous guests. The room has a kitchenette, but oddly, there was no electric kettle. That said, they promptly provided one upon request.

I liked the location of the property, the staff were also friendly.

As soon as I stepped foot on the the 7th floor I got the aroma of cigarettes, or at least someone who had just smoked some as well as the aroma of a borderline fecal smell. One of the first things I noticed was the size of the room, it was definitely smaller than what it seems like in the images, not the biggest deal I’m aware of square footage being shown on listings. The bathroom had carpet which was damp which I could feel on the bottom of my socks when I stepped into it. Additionally the window curtains had stains all over them and I could only guess what they were. I have picture evidence of this. And lastly on the instructions for the tv and how to access apps like Netflix, the first instruction is to click the INPUT button 6 times in order to reach a separate screen but there is no such button that reads INPUT on the remote or tv, I also have picture evidence of this. The remote itself was extremely complicated to use. I’m not too old or to young to know how to use a remote, I am in the tech industry myself.

Comfortable and relaxing stay.

Excellent! highly recommend. Rooms were clean and spacious. The beds were very comfortable even the sofa bed. Staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. The breakfast had cereal, oatmeal, fruits, eggs, waffles, sausages, toasts, coffee and tea. The rooms had a very nice and clean crib for our infant. The place is located in a nice area. Lots of restaurants and stores. The pool was clean and warm.

I wish I would had stayed there longer.

All Good

As I do not drive in US, this hotel is in an excellent location that there are restaurants that you can walk to eat, supermarket to buy daily utilities or simple food to cook at the kitchen. Also has a running trail nearby. Staffs were all very friendly and helpful. Ops, can do self laundry also.

There is air conditioning for warm/cool air. But it cannot maintain constant temperature. That’s means it will take times for the room to ‘warm up’ and then it will eventually cool down and then warm up again to your temperature set. It’s ok but a bit noisy and takes time. As the temperature this week was warm, I turn off the air conditioning and open window which is good.
