Communication needs to be better

Easy access to & from event we went to

1- i requested a 12 (noon) check out due to my husband running the 1/2 marathon. Was told no problem. At 1120 they were knocking on door telling me to get out. 2- got king suite with sleeper bed for my 11 year old. Pull out bed was broken what we could see sheets were covered in urine. She ended up sleeping on the couch. 3- no working ice machine. As stated we were there for a 1/2 marathon needed ice ready had to use circle k for ice behind the property

Over priced at time of booking

Close to another hotel that had restaurants and close to COTA and DT.

The bed had 2 bugs in it , the elevator was sketchy and the “free breakfast “ was just just two waffle machines and cereal. My hubby and daughter stayed there for COTA so unfortunately did not take pics and only complained to me instead letting the staff know about the bugs . They said overall the hotel was ok. But for over $300 a night there shouldn’t have been any bugs in the bed.

Rooms are clean. Property is well kept, but I would never stay here again.

The male staff member that checked us in when we first got there was very sweet Anil.

The female staff member she had brown hair I did not appreciate that she assumed we weren’t guest. She wanted to check our room key. I understand the area is not the best but you should never assume. Unfortunately, the continental breakfast was less than continental. Yes they had waffles which is standard and eggs but when I’ve stayed at other quality ends or comfort ends or any of the continental breakfast, there is usually fruit muffins bagels oatmeal unfortunately the coffee was watered down my biggest one star review is The continental breakfast and the negative assumption of us not being a guest

Comfortable Stay, overall suited the needs, close to Central Austin.

The suites were comfortable and suited the needs. It is close to Central/Downtown Austin, only a few miles away. The beds were comfy, and there is a small fridge in the Suites rooms. No issues noted during our stay.

The breakfast should have better hot food options. I would use the breakfast as a last resort if you have no other options. It is a very basic breakfast.

The staff were all very friendly and were ready to help at any time. The property is definitely dated but it is well maintained with fresh paint etc. they are currently doing Reno’s room by room from what I understand. This property was clean and the breakfast was nice to have. The property is clean with fantastic value which will keep me coming back. Being operated by a family vs a large company was a breath of fresh air.

The only thing I would request to be different is that safes are installed. I possess a lot of high end fashion/jewelery and it would have been wonderful to be able to lock it up. With that being said, I left valuables in the room while we were at COTA and there were absolutely zero issues at all!

Bedbugs in room 105. Nice staff, but the bedbugs aren't gonna help this review.

The front desk staff were very friendly. The check in was friendly and when I notified them of bedbugs in my room, they were understanding. That being said, there were bedbugs in my room.

Bedbugs! Lots of Bedbugs. I stayed on the first floor room 105 and did a check for bedbugs. Apparently didn't check hard enough however. On my 2nd night I saw a bedbug crawl up the wall in my bathroom. I immediately went to the staff who thankfully placed me in another room. However, the bedbug bites are now starting to show all over arms, back and neck. Just FYI, bedbug bites can take a few days to become noticeable on your body. If you are going to check into this hotel, because of necessity, I would highly recommend that you learn how to check for bedbugs thorougly and have the measures in place in case they do find their back home with you.

We have chosen this hotel for the indoor pool. However we hate the pool and did not use it.

The location is kind of okay. I did not like anything because my expectations depended on the review score.

The breakfast area is so tight. If you have a family, it is hard to get breakfast items for your kids. It was a total mess :) The tables are so small. There are a bunch of balls of hair in the pool. The pool does not seem clean. The elevator passed its due inspection date by 3 months. The elevator was making sounds when you use it. There are stains on the sofa, and bed, here and there. I stayed at many hotels, but this one`s review score misled us. The review score does not reflect the real hotel conditions.

The smell of the building was unsatisfying, the room we were in had mold all over the ceilings and the bed sheets had black stains on them. The room was overall not sanitary especially for my small children.

We loved the warm welcome, the rooms were perfect, the breakfast was delicious with lots of different things to eat. Quiet place, free parking, nice chatting with the receptionist and Norma who were so kind! Thanks so much! Would have lived to take you back to France with us! We recommend it for sure!

Perfect Stay

The staff was amazing! They were polite respectful and helpful! I always try to choose a choice hotel but this one went above and beyond! I can't wait for my next trip to Austin so I can stay there again!
