We were thankful that we only has to spend a few hours there before our flight home.

Daniel was great checking out. He was nice and efficient. He even let us know that we forgot something in the room. Great employee.

Check-in was a little rough. The lady behind the counter was talking on her cell. It seemed like she was having a bad night. So I was trying to give her some grace. However, it went from bad to worse. Her greeting was curt and checking me into my room was not a priority. She stood talking to co-workers instead. Not very personable. The room had a very damp smell to it, like soured towels. We had stayed a the Comfort Inn in Athens for 6 days and it was wonderful.

Not a good idea....

Even though our stay wasn't the best, I have to say that the staff at the desk tried in every way possible to fix the problems.

As soon as we walked into our room, the smell was horrible. We had our room changed to yet another room that smelled. Mildew on the ceiling in the bathroom, the room looked old and outdated. The trim was broken and hanging around the AC unit. Hair on the sides of the shower and the ceiling sprinkler was so rusty, who knows if it would even work if there was an actual fire. The carpet was so filthy that if you got into the bed, the dirt from your feet would follow. As soon as we pulled the comforter back, there were many spots of dried blood on the underside. The phone didn't work in the room so we could contact the front desk. The front desk personnel tried so hard to make it right the best they could. The young man stripped our beds including the mattress covers and remade them right in front of us. The next day, my husband and I went to get into the elevator with our 3 year old and there was wet blood on the floor of the elevator. 😲 We immediately got the front desk guy again and held the door open while he personally cleaned it up himself. I give credit to them for trying so hard, but it was just a dirty environment from the get go and we've actually stayed there before and did not have the same problems.

Location was great. Pool & hot tub were great.

Floors in the room were slippery & sticky as if they had been mopped with soap & not rinsed . There was an odor I the room that smelled like sulfur or gas, the room was right above the pool area so we assumed it could be pool chemicals. We mentioned concerns to front desk & were told there was nobody available to check anything until Monday. They did clean the room & mop the floors which were better.

The facility was very run down needing MANY repairs and updates. We had requested a shuttle at 5am and it was not ready until 5:30 which made our airport schedule very tight.

Matthew was incredibly helpful in trying to sort cancelled flights. I appreciated his knowledge and kindness. The airport transfer lady was also really lovely. Breakfast was a good variety

So expensive for what it was. Run down, noisey with road traffic. No laundry facility available - was offered private laundry was for $30!!! No remote in room for tv, front desk staff during day didn’t seem to want to be there.

Large comfortable bed. Very close to Ruby Tuesday restaurant. Very close to airport.

Jordan who 'greeted' us ( he didn't). Kept one hand in his pocket, sorted our keys. No smile, no words of welcome. He didn't check ID. Our 12th hotel in USA in 3 weeks and this was the worst welcome. Carpet in room very grubby.

Very disappointing and unfriendly front desk staff.

Breakfast was okay and the woman setting it up was friendly.

Pool and hot tub area was pretty awful. Elevator floor was sticky and felt dirty. Front desk staff (young man in charge was not friendly at all). Room phone wasn’t working so I had to walk back down stairs to get bedding for the sofa sleeper even though he knew I was going to use it since we had asked if there was a room available with 2 beds. He said no, they were fully booked but not sure I believed him. I don’t think he wanted to bother changing the room in the computer. We are starting to fly in and out of Knoxville often to hike the AT, but we definitely won’t be staying at this hotel again.

Breakfast. I don't expect hotel breakfast to be great, but this is awful compared to other hotels. Hotel needs updated. Bathroom had tile coming off, black spots on the caulking. The top floor, has a lower ceiling. If my husband wasn't paying attention, he could've hit his head on the sprinklers.

Horrible don’t waste your money!

The lady at the front desk upon arrival was really nice.

The room was DISGUSTING upon arrival. There were massive wads of hair throughout the room especially covering the bathroom floor. You could tell nothing had been cleaned from previous occupants. Sticky stuff was all over the computer desk. The plaster was chipping off the walls and there were holes in the wall. We pulled the fold out bed out and there was dirt and filth all over it. Putting it back up where my son could sleep on the couch instead of the dirty pull out, my wife was walking by the end of the bed and a wire sticking out horrifically gashed her leg wide open. We went to the front desk and they didn’t even have a first aid kit or band aid or peroxide or alcohol or anything. Thankfully I’m a diabetic and had alcohol prep pads with me so we used a massive amount of those to try to disinfect the wound as best as we could. Now she’s got to get a tetanus shot and a blood panel because god only knows what kind of germs were on that wire. We asked to speak to the manager only to be told there wasn’t one available. We left a phone number and requested to be contacted and still haven’t heard back. I’ll be reaching out to corporate about the matter as soon as we return home.

I have never stayed in a hotel as run down as this one. To say that the facilities were in need of an upgrade is an understatement. The floors surrounding the pool were green and covered in algae. The walls of our room were stained black marks all over two different shades of paint. The bathroom had chips missing from the tub and the toilet along with a torn shower curtain and what looked like black mold all over the ceiling

The breakfast was good! And the times that breakfast is available are very reasonable! Also the pool is heated and very nice.

If you have to travel around the area you need to find another way to go than trying to turn left from Cusick Road onto 129. You will sit there for ever before you get out. Also trying to turn left from 129 onto Cusick road to get to the hotel is a nightmare. Re route your GPS to come into it on a different road.

Staff was very courteous and helpful.

Not at all what we expected for the high cost. Hotel is old and in need of renovation. Our bathtub/shower was moldy and the wall around it was torn out. You either had extremely hot water or extremely cold water in the shower. Carpet is old and worn as well as the furniture in the room.
