My families WORST day EVER!!!

Nothing!

The fact that the guy managing that day CLEARLY gave my family's room away! In a crisis at that!! We had NOWHERE to go and slept in our car to keep warm!! He stated he couldn't see our reservation in his computer. I pointed out confirmation on my phone and the "all set" near said confirmation. He said with a smug attitude barely able to look me in the eyes, that..it "didn't matter. If its not on his computer, then i don't have a reservation!". Then insisted several times that i cancel a reservation that I supposedly didn't even have! I'm Assuming to cover his own tracks. Following his many requests for me to cancel on my end, he says, "get back on your phone and reserve a rm, but NOT HERE, because we have NO rooms"! REALLY?? So we spent hours til dark trying to find a rm physically driving burning gas, as well as calling everywhere, but rms would be gone b4 an agent could put credit card info into they're system. Literally asking if we were willing to commute out of state for a rm. I'm Literally still fuming from the horror of that day. As well as the blatant disregard for my reservation and family's well being. CLEARLY someone stayed in our rm or I wouldn't be getting this email asking "how our stay was"! Really? Simply Criminal!!! Especially when it's a less than quality establishment to begin with. But when you're in a desperate situation, as so many others across MI were that day. You do what you have to. It took me hours to secure that reservation after trying for hours to find any. My family was FREEZING in our home. So, to finally feel the "security" of the reservation i felt relieved. Again, still really upset and will take further action so that hopefully this will never happen to another person there again in a future crisis!! SMH!!

It was clean and the bed was comfortable. Definitely run down but we just needed a place to lay our heads and shower.

Comfy beds in a clean room that needed updating with pleasant staff and on-site security.

The breakfast was brown bag and was good. The staff were pleasant. On-site security was in a marked car and were watching to make sure we got in the room safely.

The room could use an update. The wallpaper and carpet were old and worn. The bathroom door would not stay closed. The room also did not have a refrigerator.

Horrific

The pool that was advertised so greatly is a mess and is closed, looks like it was never open this summer, there’s no breakfast buffet or any breakfast at all so that was a lie too and don’t get me started on the rooms, I took myself and my two small sons to this room and there was a condom on the floor !! Candy on the sides on the beds , sheets were disgusting, the bathroom was so gross we didn’t shower that day, the ceiling in the bathroom was completely ripped off and there was so many spiders coming from the gaping hole, every drawer smelled like roaches!!! It’s was awe full , I just want to take my boys for a swim because our power was out at home but honestly I’d rather stayed in a house with no power and two screaming kids than to ever go there again

MY ROOM WAS ROACH CITY

IM SURPRISED THAT NOBODY DIDNT TALK ABOUT THE ROACHES THAT THIS PLACE HAS. BECAUSE IF THEY DID I WOULDVE NEVER BOOKED TO THIS PLACE. FOR THIRTY DOLLARS MORE I COULDVE HAD A CLEANER ROOM AT ANOTHER HOTEL. WORDS CANT EXPLAIN HOW ANGRY I AM THAT I SPENT TWO DAYS SLEEPING WITH THE LIGHTS ON JUST SO THE ROACHES WOULDNT COME OUT. NOT ONLY THAT BUT THE BATHROOM WAS SMALL AND THERE WAS NO WAY TO LOCK IT. STAFF WAS NOT THAT FRIENDLY EITHER SMH! THEY GAVE ME A ROOM WITH ROACHES WOW

We were turned away even though we had a reservation because we were traveling with our dog. Your website said the staff hotel was dog friendly but it really is not. The place was also filthy.
