The stay was good. The communication prior to the stay was nonexistent.

The property was clean and a good location.

The communication with the property was not good through the Booking portal. I tried to communicate with them about an upcoming issue and they did not respond.

We will be back every 3 weeks for the near future.

The room was nice and quiet, the bathroom was so nice and clean. The beds were comfortable!! There were enough pillows on each bed. My husband and I have been traveling from the upper thumb in Michigan to Karmanos in Detroit for 7 months now and we finally found a place to stay for treatments. We go down the night before so we can be at the facility on time. Grant it we only put our heads on the pillows and then head out the next morning, but the night we spent here was the best sleep of all our overnight stays. We have already booked our next stay for the end of the month. So happy we found this gem.

Can't really say much about what we didn't like because we weren't there long enough to use any of the facilities. But from what we saw during check in, I would be hard pressed to find fault.

Distance to Royal Oak is good and staff was very friendly! Also, the room was clean.

I recommend the Hampton Inn Detroit Madison Heights South Troy. The lady at check in (I’m sorry for not getting her name) was cheerful, nice and helpful. The hotel and my room were super clean. The breakfast was delicious. The gentlemen (FREDDIE) working the breakfast really cared about the food being served. He was constantly cleaning / wiping down the breakfast area and restocking condiments, drinks and fresh hot food items. I definitely want to give him (FREDDIE) a special shout out due to his attention to detail and friendliness.

Far Exceeded My Expectations

Clean, smells clean! The staff person who checked us in was so friendly and inviting. It was a great start to our visit. The room was very nice and the beds and pillows so comfortable. The heat/A/C unit was very quiet . I really liked the immediate text I received letting me know to text back if we needed anything. So simple. Location wise we were central to everything..15 minutes from Royal Oak Music Theatre. The coffee was the absolute best

A quick trip across the borders

Easy check in and out. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent.p, with eggs, sausages and potatoes. Waffles with a number of topping choices. Breads and cereal choices were plentiful.
