Room was not thoroughly cleaned upon check in. So instead of just sanitizing I had to do a deep clean. Staff adjusted stay rate for the inconvenience.

Our room had an awful fried fish and smoke smell. Also I overheard a conversation when I was checking in about someone complaining there was a bug in their room so I was nervous the whole time. It was unsettling to say the least.

This place was filthy. The first room we were put in had long black dog hair all over the floor. Since we arrived so late, I felt bad about wanting to complain, but the next morning we were so congested i had no choice. The room they moved me to didn't have any dog hair.... but was possibly dirtier than the first. I literally went out and bought a broom and swiffer style mop and wet pads and spent an hour mopping the floor. 12 pads later and they were still coming up brown. We left early and still got charged for our entire stay. I wish i could give it zero stars. My advice is if you want to attempt to sleep here- bring cleaning supplies, you'll need them.

Don't EVER stay here. AVOID this place. We arrived and was told our room was being repaired and to please come back and check in later (after the Tigers game) and the room should be ready. They had no other room for us. We couldn't risk the room not being ready (5 hour drive from our home) and had to stay somewhere else. We were told we would be refunded. After 90 days and a dispute later we were held responsible for the charges. The WORST hotel experience ever and we stay at around 15 rooms a year. AVOID AVOID.

The front desk lady is not so kind. She was friendly at check in but when she called the room to say that I needed to come to the front desk because there was a discrepancy with the room, but couldn’t tell me why she got extremely rude and started yelling at me and hung up the phone. When I got down to the front desk she still had an attitude while I was trying to understand what was going on and she kept yelling at me. I couldn’t believe what I was experiencing. I asked for her name and she said it doesn’t matter and continues to shut the gate in my face and yelled you won’t get a refund. I think she was on some drugs. My friend and I didn’t feel safe so we didn’t stay the night. We had to find another hotel that felt safe and clean. I’m so disappointed. I’m used to professionalism when I go to hotels. I will never go back

The room smelt of cigarettes so badly to the point it made my son and mother very ill. It was very uncomfortable. The floor was so dirty our socks turned brown. I will say the one staff member I did encounter was beyond friendly and nice.

I was actually quite surprised at how nice the rooms were. Check-in was a little odd. After 6 PM on a Sunday night there’s nobody at the front window so we had to dial 500 for customer service. Someone very quickly came and met us at the front desk and got us checked in. Hotel is very nice and affordable!

I was very impressed with the cleanliness, the quiet atmosphere and the comfort. The only reason I didn't give an excellent for overall was the cleaning policy which interrupted my dinner on my final night of my stay. However we did work it out that they would come back early Sunday morning to finish the cleaning. Yes I would recommend this motel to my friends

Friendly desk staff upon arrival, clean room, easily accessible amenities (fitness, laundry, etc). Only downside was the a/c units stopped working halfway through my stay, but it was bearable. Nice place which fit my needs quite well!

My room wasn’t the best in terms of cleanliness but I didn’t expect it to be honestly. What made the trip terrible was having no AC for two days and never being notified by staff that the AC was down. After the first night of no AC I went and spoke to the staff and she stated that they are working on it. I explained how no one notified me that the AC was down. It would have been great to know that in advance.

Liked that dogs were allowed. Disliked that there was no enforcement of dog owner’s responsibility in cleaning up after their dogs. Hotel guests allowed loud music at night, upper level sounded like heard of elephants, need better sound barriers. Too close to freeway. Didn’t like that you had to “buy” additional items. What’s the point of an efficiency if cookware dishes and utensils are not included, same with wifi access. Even using cell service was spotty.

They don’t even welcome you with a bottle of water. The hotel was not full but they don’t want to help you with a different room. The dishes in the dishwasher were dirty. The ac doesn’t cool properly and they have no fan only option. It was hot and stuffy. Even if you decrease the temperature, it won’t go below. Wish I could sleep with doors open. It was stuffy without a fan option.

SHOWER WAS AWFUL, NOTHING MORE THAN A STRONG DRIP. STRIKE "STRONG"! No cookware, dinnerware, nor utensils provided in "kitchen". Completely bare. Yapping dog in next room. Guy yelling at his girlfriend on his phone all night in next room.
