Nothing they was rude and liars as well..
They was rude unconsidered and was liars told me they was not taking anymore bookings but i was still able to book online and when i called acting like someone else they said they had rooms available. Then as i was waiting for my ride i had my luggage on the cart and she watched me the whole time as if i was going to steal the cart. And rooms was dirty still stuff in the fridge and dresser and under the bed!!

Dear Hotel Manager’s
I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Columbus Airport Area from November 8–10, 2025. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet the standards I expected, and I feel compelled to bring these issues to your attention.
Check‑in Experience: Upon arrival at 3:40 p.m., the receptionist was rude and initially informed me that no room was available. She remarked that the hotel had been busy and, because I had not checked in earlier, she had to locate a clean room. This comment was unprofessional and left me feeling unwelcome.
Cleanliness of Common Areas: The lobby was in poor condition, with trash and leftover food on the floor. Guests had to walk around waste to reach the front desk, which created an unpleasant and unsanitary environment.
These issues reflect poorly on the property’s customer service and maintenance standards. I respectfully request that you review this matter, address the staff conduct, and ensure that cleanliness protocols are enforced more rigorously.
I would appreciate a written response outlining the steps your team will take to prevent similar experiences for future guests. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

The check in staff was wonderful. They were nice and once they realized the struggle it would be to get the dog and luggage upstairs due to their lack of elevators they quickly offered to and changed us to a room downstairs near a door.
It was dirty and stained. The floors in the room, hallway, the bed. There were guests partying in the parking lot and being loud up and down the hallway. Broken glass in the parking lot from the partiers. Someone tried to get into our room in the middle of the night. I believe due to being drunk and confused as it sounded as if they went into the room next door once I asked what they wanted.

It is relatively close to the highway, yet you can't hear it (over the sound of the AC, the cars parked right up to you window without a pane to act as a sound barrier, and the rumblings from other rooms) - this is the only reason it gets a 2 and not a 1 rate.

There are three other lodges in the immediate vicinity - make better choices.

We arrived to find out that the entire front section of the hotel is under renovations (not mentioned anywhere when booking) which means that, at first, we were not even sure if the place was even operational! Only after seeing the cars parked out back, did we see people walking about. We parked and navigated through the dimly lit corridors (horror films, much?) to the lobby, where we were charged 150$ deposit for one night (did not happen in any other hotel for this trip) and given keys to a freezing room (temp was at around 40).
The room itself was in a general disrepair: missing blinds and no window pane (meaning that except for a thin layer of tarp, there was nothing blocking the noise from the parking lot, which was right up to the room wall), loose deadbolt (it seemed like someone had tried, and maybe succeeded, in forcing their way in, at some point in the past), rust stains on the bathroom sink (without there even being a faucet there? where did they come from??), and stained linen - to name a few things.
During the night, we could hear all kind of activities happening in the corridor at all hours. There was absolutely no regard from the hotel or staff to keeping silent sleeping hours (I had no intentions to go seek any administrator - not with the busted deadbolt a silent evidence to part events!)
In the morning, we got to breakfast to find it even more spartan than the ones we faced in other places: no eggs, no protein, simply pancakes (the make-it-yourself-from-a-batter kind), cereal, yogurt and some spreads. The designated dining area had wobbly tables which direly needed a wipe, chairs - and that is it.

the staff seemed to understand that the hotel was nasty and were pretty nice
no elevator, the air conditioning was broken so it was 80° in the room the whole night, bedding and towels had stains and funk on them, the floor was dusty and dirty, the emergency lock on the door was busted and didn’t work, there was hair and lint in the shower, the toilet had pee spots under the seat, overall the whole place was just nasty. it looked absolutely nothing like the listing photos.
