It was a place to sleep.

I’ve stayed in several Holiday Inn Express’s and usually they’re a safe bet. This location was not the norm. It’s dated, there is a lot of wear and tear, and if your room is on the right side of the hotel, you will hear all the traffic. Our bathroom had hair in several places upon us arriving, the chaise lounge had a large stain in the middle of it, the lighting is very dim, and it was very noisy. I can’t speak into breakfast or any other amenities of the hotel but the room it’s self was rough.

Breakfast was okay but cold.

Hairs in bed. Sam. So rude. So disrespectful. Tried to double charge deposits. Argued we only had a one day reservation. Tv didn’t work and they didn’t want to fix it or switch us rooms until we said we need tv. We will be in the room a lot that evening. The worker “Sam” was very rude. He raised his voice at me and my female friend when we were trying to communicate we would be out tomorrow and would still like a call from the manager(from the start when we checked in we had issues with “Sam”.

The front desk people were terrible. They were not helpful, they were not pleasant. My daughter’s air conditioning kept turning off during the night, waking her kids because it got so warm.

The breakfast exceeding my expectations. The attendant was very friendly, and the food was plentiful and varied. There were eggs, meats, biscuits and gravy, cereal, toast and muffins, yogurt, fruit, coffee and juices.

The room was very clean, but it felt a little shabby. The bathroom door handle came off in my daughter's hand, and so after that we couldn't shut the door because it was then impossible to open from the inside. The room faced the road and was a bit noisy, and the walls are thin and you can hear conversations in the hall and in the adjacent rooms. All in all the quality was consistent with the price, and the over all cleanliness, comfortable bed, and the excellent breakfast went a long way towards making up for the other shortfalls. Bring ear plugs and you'll be fine.

The breakfast was delicious. Staff was great and asked us if we needed anything to let her know.

Problems with commode not flushing. Contacted the front desk. They sent someone with a plunger. Said it was fixed. Said it was a tampon, which it was not. Was hit or miss working. Had the plunger in room. for stay.

Very nice and clean throughout the entire facility and smelled fresh everywhere.

There was such a limited selection for breakfast items, and with my food intolerances, there were only a couple of things that I could nibble and left quite hungry.
