Causewayside Apartment - The Edinburgh Address

Location is excellent, especially if you are there for the University of Edinburgh. It's close to both campuses and most of the residences. Plus it's very close to the Meadows, the city's main park, and an easy walk or bus to the city center and castle. Also just a few minutes walk to Arthur's Seat and Holyrood park. The neighborhood also has every kind of restaurant you can think of, many at student prices, and convenient grocery stores and awesome bakery. It's also not on the main road so a little quieter at night. And the apartment is spacious and well furnished and the kitchen is well appointed.

Not much but if I have to nit pick I would say make it easier to find a cutting board in the kitchen (we could not find one), and make the door lock a bit easier too use--it's fiddly. Also a bit pricey to set up sofa bed linens if you request. But that's really it. A very nice place to stay.

Everything was clean and well thought out.

It was a good distance from the center, but I knew that going in.

Clean, warm, well prepared, excellent communication. Near to good pubs and a tescos. Easy immediate access to holyrood park and blackford hill and not far at all from centre of Edinburgh

The outside is not as welcoming as the inside but not unexpected.

Noisy fan/ventilation near the master bedroom and 2nd bedroom Very run down entrance to the building and apartment, mostly students are living in the building No free parking nearby - had to walk 10-15 minutes to park the car which was inconvenient The kitchen was not very clean, including utensil drawers, oven, refrigerator, and microwave Dated furniture including sofa Small TV A little far walking distance to old & new town.
