We left after being there for not even an hour and drove 2 hours back home instead of staying here

The front door to the room looked like it could just be kicked in. Lots of shady people walking around, which we found unsettling. There was a huge booger on the wall next to our bed where our heads would lay. Hair/dirt/debris was on our bedding. I understand for most places like this it is very “you get what you pay for” and I get that. But it was VERY unclean and I didn’t even want to take my shoes off. My wife is pregnant and I didn’t feel as though this place was safe whatsoever. All we looked for was an affordable stay close by to a tournament I was playing in, and ended up just going home and cutting our losses with the no refund policy.

The bed was comfortable & dog friendly

The staff was unapologetic when switching us rooms, the first room had a broken toilet seat and didn’t flush. The second room wasn’t cleaned and the toilet seat again wasn’t stable. The outside of the hotel was trashy and barely any dog areas for them to use the bathroom.

Free breakfast, easy access to the highway

Our door would not close all the way so we could not lock it. No help or resolution was given. Had to put the desk in front of the door for safety. Our shower was filthy and the bathroom floor had pre stains all around the toilet. There was partying with loud music, yelling, drinking, ect., going on outside till 2-3am. In the morning there were beer containers and boxes everywhere.

The rooms need maintenance. Put a large towel under the door to keep out drafts and critters.

Location

The room was hidden in a corner of the facility, you can’t see the room number from the ground level, it doesn’t match up with first floor rooms number wise. There were three options to approach the room and two were not correct. A sign at the lower level stairs indicating which upstairs rooms are available from these stairs would help. There was a one inch gap under the entry door. There was also a vertical gap on the door. The first accessible light switch controlled a very dim (20 watt?) light. The light over the sink burned out after 5 seconds of use. There wasn’t a stopper for the bathroom sink drain. The bathroom door had been damaged long ago from improper installation.

Man, I sure did pay a cheap price for an even cheaper hotel

I liked having four walls to sleep in and the walls were thick enough I couldn’t hear the neighbors. The wifi was fast. The tv has a timer for falling asleep. It was a pretty ok location, it certainly could have been worse. Teach me to book the much nicer ones in advance I suppose

The check in times on the site are wrong and half the things in the room were subpar. The microwave would screech as you used it. There was a hole in the wall. There were dozens of scratches on the back of the bathroom door from somebody locking their dog in there(I’m hoping that’s what it is). One of the lamps didn’t work and the breakfast rolls up at 9 so my partner and I couldn’t go eat. The coffee maker and the toilet are right next to each other and the parking was atrocious. Oh! And anytime anybody runs past your room(because children are little terrors) the whole room would shake.

It was so bad, we decided not to stay at all.

Everything, after we checked in and went to find our room, we saw a drug deal taking place right outside another room. The web site pictures a clean and tidy exterior and rooms that are clean a well kept. This is false advertising at it's finest. The room smelled horrible, the bathroom had not been clean, the door knob on the bathroom door was barely attached and the front door did not want work properly. We did not feel safe there. This hotel does not represent what Wyndham prides it's self on. I would appreciate a phone call.
